Why I don’t believe or accept the trinity.

is not him the Holy Spirit, the Lord Jesus? John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;" John 14:17 "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." John 14:18 "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."

and did he not come to them on Pentecost?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;"

Why ask God to send another comforter when Jesus was already there? MAKES ZERO SENSE..........................................

But "THE" Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit of the TRinity?

I'm not here to promote any of this world's religious philosophies. I posted some Scriptures and asked that you define for me how I'm "Twisting Scriptures". Why didn't you, at the very least, acknowledge the Christ's Words that I posted? Don't you believe Him?

Why in the world , once Jesus was preparing to leave mortal life and "finish" what He came to do... would he have said

Well, HE hasn't "Finished" His Work yet, as HE has yet to return.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. John 14:26

Why would God have to send another Holy Spirit while His Son was still walking the earth? When HE was still there as a man filled with the Holy Spirit His Father gave Him, HE could teach them all things and bring them into remembrance of the things HE taught them. But when HE departed up to Heaven to sit on the Right Hand of His God and His Father, He is no longer here in the Flesh. It makes perfect sense that HE would ask HIS Father to send those who would place their trust in Him, the same Spirit God gave to Him, to keep them in remembrance of His Sayings so that His people would "do" them.

How is this understanding, twisting Scriptures?

Surely you do not entertain the idea that once Jesus was off the earth it was the Father, himself, who would come, for it sounds as if that is how you are leaning in this last statement of yours above

It is the Jesus "of the bible" who taught me that His Father and my Father is a Spirit. And I believe God can give HIS Spirit to those His Son asks HIM to give it to. Don't you? And if not, who taught you this?

And where else would HIS Spirit come from, if not from "above"?

But Jesus is talking about "AFTER" HE ascends.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Why would I need "another comforter" if Jesus is standing right there in the flesh? But when HE goes to prepare a place for me, I will need another comforter, Yes?

Jesus used personal pronouns when referring to the Holy Spirit:

"But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. "And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. "I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. "He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. "All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you. "(John 16:7-15).

The Holy Spirit below does things that only a person can do,

1-He leads (Matt. 4:1).
2-He is called God (Acts 5:3-4).
3-He helps and comforts (John 14:16, 16:7).
4-He convicts of sin (John 16:17).
5-He gives testimony of Jesus (John 15:26).
6-He teaches, guides and brings to remembrance (John 14:26, 16:13).
7-He speaks and instructs (Acts 8:29; 10:19; John 16:13).
8-He hears and speaks (John 16:13, Acts 28:25-27).
9-He can be lied to and tested (Acts 5:3-4,9).
10-He sends and gives life (Acts 13:4, John 3:6, Gen 1:3).
11-He is a witness (Acts 5:32)
12-He restrains (2 Thess. 2:7).
13-He prevents (Acts 16:6-7).
14-The Spirit "said" to Philip and Peter(Acts 8:29, 10:19).
15-Peter said he was "told" by the Spirit (Acts 11:12).
16-The Holy Spirit "solemnly testifies" (Acts 20:23).
17-He made some of the early Christians overseers to shepherd the Church. (Acts 20:28).
18-He wills (Acts 13:2).
19-He interprets our prayers (Rom. 8:26).
20-He knows and communicates (1 Cor. 2:11; Rom. 8:27).
21-He reveals (Eph. 3:5).
22-He has a will-He decides, chooses and distributes the Gifts to the church (1 Cor. 12:11).
23-He can be grieved (Eph. 4:30).
24-He can be stifled, quenched ( 1 Thess 5:19)
25-He contends with man ( Gen 6:3 )

hope this helps !!! :)
may 101G ask you a question. "Was it not the Lord Jesus who came in POWER on the day of Pentecost?". scripture, Matthew 16:28 "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom."
did not the Kingdom come on Pentecost?

Luke 9:27 "But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God."
did not the KINGDOM of God come on Pentecost?

now, he said, "But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death" so if the KINGDOM of GOD did not yet come, then there are some very, very, very, old people still walking around today.

but the KINGDOM of God did Come already, which was on Pentecost, the HOLY SPIRIT, who is the Son of man as said in Matthew 16:28.

No Jesus kingdom was still future when He would physically rule and reign from Jerusalem in the Millennial kingdom. He referenced every eye would see Him at His 2nd Coming in glory as king of kings and lord of lords.

Then why do you deny a Trinity?

I'm not a Catholic or one of her protestant daughters. I don't believe in this world's religious system, or the doctrines and philosophies they promote. I don't "deny" the God and Father of the Lord's Christ. I don't "deny" His Son, my Lord and Savior, the Jesus "of the Bible". And I don't "deny" that God is a Spirit, and that HE gives of Himself, His Spirit to whom HE will.

I have answered your questions, while you are rejected and ignored mine. I have Posted the very Words of the Christ, "of the Bible" and you will not even acknowledge them, much less discuss them.

Perhaps you might consider your own behavior before accusing others of "Twisting" God's Word.

ERROR, listen, in Spirit.... scripture, Luke 17:21 "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." is this not the Holy Spirit? scripture, Romans 14:17 "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit is from the Bible .

another fallacious argument.

Why? If you do not know how having the Holy Spirit live within you, I cannot even fathom how to explain the joys of that.

You and I likely will be long gone from this life before Jesus returns.... Why wait when you could have it now?

LOL, read, Luke 17:21 "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." now is the KINGDOM of GOD within us? again, Romans 14:17 "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

John 14:17 "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

I'm not interested in your religion, your righteousness or your religious philosophies. Seductive as they are, and no doubt popular in this world God placed me in. Instead, I'm going to place my Trust in the God and Father of the Lord's Christ, through my Lord and High Priest that God gave to me.

No doubt you already have your reward, but I'm going to patiently wait for the Christ's return for the reward HE brings. A continuing city. And if I die before HE returns, I rest in hope of this promise.

is not the Comforter within us? who is the Holy Spirit? let's see, Romans 14:17 "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." do you deny this?

101G.

So you believe the Son and Holy Spirit are God ? yes or no

I believe that the God and Father of the Lord's Christ is a Spirit and is Holy. And that the Jesus "of the Bible" is the "Son of God", advocating between me and His Father even to this day.

And I learned these things from the Holy Scriptures, Inspired by this same God and Father of the Lord's Christ, AKA, I'm "learned of the Father".

I understand how precious your adopted religion is to you, but I advocate that you "deny yourself" pick up your life's experiences and follow the Jesus "of the Bible" before it's too late for you.

@civic
what you fail to understand is that when the Lord Jesus was speaking OF THE kingdom, was in the mist of you/them at that time. he was speaking of himself, (THAT WAS TO COME), not now, at that time, for the Holy Ghost/Spirit was not yet given to be indwelt permanently. so at that time he was in the MIST of them, in flesh and blood. but when Pentecost came, now in Spirit, and in POWER, he came. and IS NOW DWELING IN US. and it's a reason why he is in Spirit form..... (smile). Oh this word of God is too easy not to be understood.

see, one must divide the word correctly.
