Yes, it is our Lord who gives one the right to become a child of God; this after one hears the gospel of grace and believes in Him, calling out to Him to be saved.

Becoming a child of God-being regenerated by the Holy Spirit is something given only to those who believe, not before. Which we know of course that's really not what Calvinists preach. They DO NOT preach that to the world God is not counting the world's trespasses against them. That would be too much of a positive message to them. They preach you might be one of the lucky ones or especially blessed .

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

It is only powerful for those of us being saved. Unless God is saving us, then we are perishing, and as such, it is foolishness to us.

If He was the propitiation for everyone's sins then why isn't everyone saved? That would include the sin of unbelief no?

Your born again so you may believe the gospel. No one calls Christ Lord but by the Spirit. Nothing good comes from the flesh. Regeneration precedes faith.

Brother, this rhetoric displays your disdain of our Father's Good News that He meant for everyone. If you truly understood our Father's love and intent for mankind as He has declared, you would not have commented as such.

I state this with all earnest, Calvinism/reformed is a strong delusion that when one believes it they have replaced the gospel of God with another gospel. I speak from experience, having been delivered from it being ignorant of the truth. I pray you and all others who hold to such a perversion are delivered by God's grace and mercy too.

If I love you and purchased a gift that greatly benefits you and you reject that gift after my multiple attempts to give it to you because you think it is a foolish gift, does that make my intentions and the purchasing of the gift for you foolish or your rejection of it foolish?

You have not understood God's love for humanity, as He has declared numerous times in times past and in these last days from the mouth of His own Son who tasted death for everyone (ref: Heb 1:1-2, 2:9).

The Good News of God is meant for everyone, and only those who accept it by faith benefit from it. So the gospel of God is, He has reconciled you to Himself in the death of His Son, not counting your sins against you, so now you be reconciled to God (ref: 2 Cor 5:19-20)

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” (Rom 1:16-17)
