Agreed. Nothing about would be in Christ. The only one doing the choosing in verse 4 is God.
Newsflash: Unborn beings/unbelievers are not in Christ.

How can one unborn be a new creation or born again

Your failure to understand that the passage is addressing those in Christ and what God would do with such leads you reject much scripture.
You fail to see the passage is addressing those who are in Christ
The verse states God chose that they would be holy and blameless before him in love and predestined us to adoption
They (we) and the US would be those in Christ
That is the choice of God.
You just cannot ignore multiple verses that show faith precedes regeneration and life

It does not say Adam's sin brought condemnation to us - it clearly says that he brought death to us, Rom 5:15 For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, which is also taught in
Rom 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death was passed on to all men, because all had sinned. ie, were sinners not all received his sin! and IT IS ASSUMED to imply that this means we inherited Adam's sin which caused us to die and NOT that as sinners we were sown into Adam to inherit his death so Christ need die but once for all the sinful elect (all the lost sheep, all the sinful good seed, all the sinful people of the kingdom) and not once for each one of them!
Rather, it is an opposition to the gospel

Romans 5:15 explains that while one person's sin (Adam's) brought condemnation. We are condemned without being reconciled to God.
That's what we Christian do "explain" the Gospel to unbelievers.
We got some explaining to do.
The gospel announces regeneration and salvation to those who believe.
Your theology, on the other hand, is anti-gospel.
