Truth about the resurrection

John says “the Word” was with God in the beginning. Does “and the Word was with God in the creation” make sense?

Doug
Prov 8:30= produced me as the begginning of your way= creating=Gods master worker= the one whom God created all other things through. Your error translations has possessed me as the beginning of your way= makes no sense.

Hebrews 1:3 (KJV 1900) — 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Jesus is Jehovah

stated of Jesus

Hebrews 1:10–12 (KJV 1900) — 10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: 11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; 12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

stated of Jehovah

Psalm 102:25–27 (UASV) — 25 Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. 26 They will perish, but you will endure; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like clothing, and they will pass away, 27 but you are the same, and your years will never end.

as proven by

Psalm 102:19–24 (UASV) — 19 that he looked down from his holy height; from heaven Jehovah looked at the earth, 20 to hear the groans of the prisoners, to set free those who were doomed to die, 21 that they may declare in Zion the name of Jehovah, and his praise in Jerusalem, 22 when the peoples are gathered together, and kingdoms, to serve Jehovah. 23 He has weakened my strength in the way; he has shortened my days. 24 I say, “O my God, “do not take me away in the midst of my days, your years are throughout all generations.
The majesty=YHWH=Jesus, God and Father.

Wisdom is a thing, not a person. Proverbs 8 is Hebrew poetry, not objective propositional truth statements. First semester hermeneutics would have taught you that. Personification of a non-human entity is quite common. If Wisdom is a real person, who is prudence?

The majesty=YHWH=Jesus, God and Father.
Are you affirming Jesus is Jehovah?

Hebrews 1:3 (KJV 1900) — 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

It doesn't say that. It says he was there in the beginning.
Sure it does

John 1:1–3 (UASV) — 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 This one was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through him, and apart from him, not one thing came into being that has come into being.

Not only does it say is the beginning he was, but it also states nothing was created without him

Seeing as creation is termed the beginning in Gen 1:1 we know Christ was there in the beginning

It doesn't say that. It says he was there in the beginning.
Οὗτος ἦν ἐν ἀρχῇ πρὸς τὸν Θεόν.

It literally says “He was in (the) beginning with God.”

The Greek word ἐν is pronounced “en” which is the equivalent of “in” both phonetically and by definition.

Doug

If all things were created by him and nothing was made without him Christ obviously had to pre-exist the beginning of creation
Well of course that is true the only way to say otherwise is to turn a bind eye to all the scriptures ( Gods word, teaching, doctrine) in exchange for the false teachings of manmade religions.

When one dishonors the Son our Lord said they dishonor the Father, when one denies the Son the Father will also deny them.

Yes notice how the uni's will use symbolic and poetic language to deny Christ and His pre existence.

Unitarians, Jehovah's Witnesses do not honor the father because they do not honor Jesus as they honor the Father.'

John 5:23 (KJV 1900) — 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

yes they dishonor Him be degrading His status as Divne to purely human.

As we know there is no man who can be sinless- for all have sinned.

The only way for a man to be sinless is if that man is also God. And also we know that no man can give his life as a ransom for another and redeem them. Only God can redeem a man. And we know Christ is God and our sinless Redeemer and Savior.

Psalm 49-
None of them can by any means redeem his brother, Nor give to God a ransom for him: (For the redemption of their soul is precious, And it ceaseth for ever:at he should still live for ever, And not see corruption

Remember the law of agency Kiew.

For the Jews, this meant the messenger had the same authority as the person sending the message. The messenger was 'as the man themself'

So this applies to Jesus' interaction with the Father. The Jews knew very soon that Jesus was claiming diety, equality with the Father because of the way they understood agency.

Trinity religions twist Prov 8--Jesus became Wisdom 1Cor 1:30) There is 0 doubt Jesus is Gods master worker, the one whom God created all other things through.

It would be impossible for Jesus to be Jehovah. Jesus has a God--Jehovah is that God.

He was=the firstborn of all creation = the beginning.
