Wisdom is a thing, not a person. Proverbs 8 is Hebrew poetry, not objective propositional truth statements. First semester hermeneutics would have taught you that. Personification of a non-human entity is quite common. If Wisdom is a real person, who is prudence?

Seeing as creation is termed the beginning in Gen 1:1 we know Christ was there in the beginning

It literally says “He was in (the) beginning with God.”
The Greek word ἐν is pronounced “en” which is the equivalent of “in” both phonetically and by definition.
