It is a prayer to God, so of course it says, according to Matthew, “for yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever”.
Moreover, John 5 says:
22Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,
23that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
So Jesus is worthy of “the power and glory and kingdom” being his as well!
Rev 5:11Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.
12In a loud voice they were saying:
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”
13Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”
14The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

I guess you have your doctorate in ancient writings…
The Trinity was affirmed in AD 325 at Nicaea, 56 years before. Constantinople denied Arianism, which denied the Deity of Christ.
