Trump ?

His spirit is in us. The bible is His living word. His living word says I'm he righteousness of God in Him.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:5
The truth of the Bible will cause your heart to rejoice, especially in times of difficulty and trouble. There are times when I get alone with God to read my Bible and listen to worship music, and my heart seems to escape the burdens of this world.

I become so freshly conscious of the grace of God that I am amazed God has taken the initiative to communicate with me And it is by reading and meditating upon the truth of God’s revelation that I have that awareness.

Granted, there are times when the Word of God disciplines my heart and soul, and I need that. But then there are those times when the Word rejoices the heart.

I never made this post... It's hilarous, but I never made it... I am A-political. I don't remember when I made this account, but someone got on it and apparently made this post... I never watch the news.

Weird.

Solomon wasn't a very good king.
They all were failures:
the men called by GOD failed
prophets failed
judges failed
kings failed

These people all failed to prove to us to NOT put our trust in leaders even if they profess faith.

I wouldn't say they failed to prove to us but I understand what you're saying.

We trust in riches too and they are "uncertain". Leaders are too.

1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Yes.

If you turn to any politician to answer "Who will save us in our time of need?" you are doomed.

Nobody said anything about a pastor . Try reading the OP with comprehension.

The thought of only voting for a born again Christian never crossed my mind. I understand people’s angst, but I do think he will be the greatest President in my lifetime. He already is in my opinion. I always say until Jesus is on the ticket, I will be voting for an imperfect human. An imperfect human that can get the job done IS preferrable. We have seen several in recent years that failed miserably on even scratching that surface.

I have never been thrilled with the idea of denominations. That term was always a bad word in my spiritual tribe. When I read that word, my mind sees DIVISIONS.

edit if you have time left to do so

should read "though we are all children/offspring of God, we are not all sons of God"

children of God(created in the image of God) end up in Hell if they do not become sons of God
His big mistake was putting Paula White to various roles, including as a spiritual advisor and the head of the White House Faith and Opportunity Initiative.. (I heard her on a video claim that now when someone walks onto the Whitehouse grounds they are
on sacred ground)

Now he has said he is non-denominational.

Who is this? I only know of one @Jaime from Texas? Brother I agree with you 100% concerning President Trump, and my wife would agree even more. Without question, he is the greatest president in our lifetime, who truly puts America first in words and deeds!

Good to see you posting dear brother, long time since I have spoken to you ~ too long.

But Jaime... are we not divided?

From the Free Wil believes to the predestined believers who take it to full blown Calvinism....

Just those two alone divide us.

Bring in Baptism, or even Holy Communion and I don't see how there can be unity within the church itself.

I find good in all... Even some in the Catholic and Orthodox religions... (Who also do not agree with each other)

And I find bad in them all..... which is why while I follow my church of 52 years I no longer share their beliefs.

I just keep my mouth shut.... for the most part....

Now... so will holler heretic idea when I say this but I could be persuaded that we all are okay in the Fathers eyes
provided Jesus is and will remain the reason.

Now back to Trump. I voted for him 3 times. I would again.

Is he perfect. I will just say he is at least as perfect a president as Ronal Reagan was IMO

What I want to know is if Melania decorated the Whitehouse this year for Christmas because I do not
watch news anymore... only local AM for the daily weather and they would not say anything about it.

Trump on numerous occasions has gone on record stating a few contradictory things that should be alarming for true Christian’s.

1- claims to have a good relationship with “ God”

2- says he has never asked God to forgive him for anything.

3- the Bible is “ personal “ to me I don’t want to discuss it.

Does anyone else see the oxymoron?

Let’s discuss
He's not a Christian, but a president who does not deny God, and is favorable toward those who believe in him, what more can you ask of a leader of a nation. I did not vote for a Sunday school teacher, but a president of a nation made of of mostly unsaved folks, even though many are religious.

He's blind spiritually speaking, and so what, all world leaders past, and present are. This is no secret. It would be impossible to get a Holy Ghost filled man of God as a leader of any nation, impossible.

Yes we A4e divided, but Jesus didn’t seem to like that much. I think he would repulse at even the IDEA of denominations.
