Conservative America's False doctrine (1800's dispensationalism) Support of Israel

Titus 2:1,
- but as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine

Support by so called "Christians" towards Jews and the state of Israel in American politics is a theology doctrine coming out of 1800's dispensationalism.
It is unbiblical.
Conservatives on the right who strongly support Israel are known as,
Pro Israel Republicans
Christian Zionists
Neoconservatives

This article is not anti- semitic propaganda. My goal is not to stir up hate towards "Jewish people" or any ethnic group.

Christians are to love every people on the earth.
The purpose is to educate what the Bible teaches on Gods people(christians) and their relationship, obligations towards "jews" .

Anyone who has the theological belief that Christian's in America are obligated by the word of God to support Israel(jews) are deceived by man made fables.

Men like,
Ted Cruz
Mike Huckabee
Mark Levin
Ben Shapiro
President Trump
Etc.
Are misleading conservative Americans into believing we are spiritually obligated to support Israel militarily and financially.

Now I will continue to support President Trump and I encourage everyone to do the same.
I do not have to agree with everything Trump believes to support him.

Also, I do not support hate of certain races because they are in fact doing great harm to America like Arabs( Muslim) or Jews .
The growing far right wing unapologetic racists like Nick Fuentes and his supporters are just as immoral and theologically in error of their version of the teachings of Jesus Christ as are the already mentioned spiritual supporters of jews.

Theologically they're both ignorant of the word of God therefore I reject both groups.

Scripture does not teach that Christians are required to financially support, defend, or protect the modern nation of Israel or its land.

These ideas arise from:
Dispensational theology
Political movements
Modern prophecy interpretations

But NOT from the New Testament itself!!!

Just use common sense.
Why would God command His people to fund a government and it's people that reject their Messiah?

That would be God commanding His people to support wickedness.
1 Thessalonians 5:22,
- Abstain from every form of evil

Avoid every kind of evil, including endorsing or supporting it.
Did you know in Israel the ultra orthodox Jews spit on those who identify as Christian in Israel?
A 2024 report by Rossing Center for Education and Dialogue documented 111 cases of harassment or violence against "christians" in Israel and East Jerusalem including spitting, physical attacks, vandalism against churches, and verbal harassment.
Incidents reportedly include "Christians" walking in public wearing clerical clothing, church property being damaged or desecrated and "christian" pilgrims or worshippers being verbally insulted or attacked.

Here in America you would expect this behavior from Muslim groups towards "christians" not jews.
But in their own nation persecution of those who believe in Jesus as the Messiah are in danger!!!
Fact: Christian persecution is common among all religions when christianity is the minority of that area.

That's why if you want your family safe you better fight to keep Islam and other religions out of your state, communities. I'm not teaching physical violence.
The sword of the Christian is the word of God. This is how we defeat our enemies with conversion.
The more lazy you are at sharing your faith with non believers. The more you should expect your beliefs to die in your country.

The strongest proof no one is obligated to support Israel

The old covenant land promise has ended.
The old covenant is obsolete,
Hebrews 8:13,
- in that He says, a new covenant, He has made the first obsolete Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away

The land was part of that covenant,
Deuteronomy 28:1;8,
- Now if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God and are careful to follow all His commandments I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth and all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you, if you will obey the voice of the Lord your God,
8,
the Lord will decree a blessing on your barns and on everything to which you put your hand, the Lord your God will bless you in the land He is giving you

Joshua 23:14-16,
- but just as all the good things the Lord your God has promised concerning you have been fullfilled for you, so the Lord WILL bring upon you all the evil things until HE HAS DESTROYED YOU FROM OFF THIS GOOD LAND THAT THE LORD YOUR GOD HAS GIVEN YOU

If the covenant is gone then that land obligation is also gone!!

The new testament relocates the inheritance from the land to the world.
Romans 4:13,
- for the promise that He would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law(old covenant) but through the righteousness of FAITH(Gospel system, new covenant)

The promise is now to the world of obedient believers not a geographical location!!

God rejected Israel's Old Covenant system

When the veil was torn in two, Matthew 27:51 this symbolized:
The old covenant law fulfilled
The sacrificial system ended
The priesthood replaced
The temple no longer Gods house, Matthew 23:38,
- Look, Your House is left to You desolate

God rejected the physical covenant structure not the ethnicity!! All Jews who believe in their Messiah will be in the new Spiritual Israel.

Jesus said physical descent gave no covenant privileges.
Believers of The Faith are now the circumcision.
Philippians 3:3,
- for we(gentiles, believing jews) are the circumcision, those worshiping in the Spirit of God and glorifying in Christ Jesus and not trusting in the flesh(physical ethnic jew)

Circumcision = covenant identity.
Paul says christians not ethnic Jews are now the true circumcision.
That is spiritual Israel.
This does not mean ethnic Israel disappears. It means Gods covenant people are now defined by faith in Christ not ethnicity, physical circumcision or the law of Moses.

Romans 2:28-29,
- for he is not a jew outwardly nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh,
- but he is a jew who is one inwardly and circumcision is that of the heart by the Spirit, not of the letter(Old Law,Old covenant) and his praise is not from men but from God

A true covenant person "jew" is now defined by:
Circumcision of the heart
By the Spirit
Not by the law of the flesh

This is the clearest text showing spiritual Israel is defined by faith not bloodline!!

Putting it all together
Faith in Christ makes a person a child of Abraham, Galatians 3:7;29
Circumcision is of the heart not the flesh, Romans 2:28-29
Gentiles are grafted into the Israel's olive tree, Romans 11:17-24
The church of Christ is the Israel of God, Galatians 6:16
Gentiles become fellow citizens of Israel, Ephesians 2:12-19
Believers are the true circumcision, Philippians 3:3
The church is the Holy nation and people of God, 1Peter 2:9-10

God rejected unbelieving Israel, not Jewish people as a race
Paul plainly says:
Romans 9:6,
- they are not all Israel which are of Israel

Physical descent no longer equals covenant status
Only the faithful remnant is accepted.
Israel was rejected because of unbelief.

Romans 11:20,
- because of unbelief they were broken off

Gods rejection is CONDITIONAL based on unbelief not ethnicity.

God rejected Israel as a nation when they rejected their Messiah.
In Jesus' own words,
Matthew 21:43,
- the kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to a nation bringing forth fruits thereof

This is decisive covenant judgment:
The kingdom taken from unbelieving Jews
Given to a new people(believing Jews and gentiles= the new covenant church).
This is the new Israel.

The land promise was part of the old covenant
God tied the land to obedience of the law of Moses.
Deuteronomy 28:1-13,
- if you obey My voice...
Deuteronomy 28:63-64,
- if you do not obey...you will be plucked off the land

The land was never an unconditional eternal racial right!!!!!
It was conditional on covenant faithfulness!!!!

Israel broke the covenant permanently
Jeremiah 31:32,
- not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant that they broke though times their husband declares the Lord

When the covenant ended the territorial promises tied to it ended too.
The new testament teaches the land promise is fulfilled spiritually.
The NT redefines the inheritance.
The promise was not ultimately about a piece of land.

I could go on.
The main point to take away is no Christian is obligated to serve Israel!!!
Not one scripture, not one commandment given by God to support them in any way.
The gospel is to be preached to all nations, Mark 16:15-16.
No special treatment is to be given to any ethnicity on the earth. All are to be loved and treated as of the same importance.
No soul is more important to God. All need to hear the gospel and believe and obey it.
Those who refuse to believe will not be treated any differently by God on judgment day.

Romans 14:12,
- So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God

He came to save His souls,
not this body nor its flesh institutions
and governments, nor 'nations,'
nor earthly 'bloodlines.'

Following Him is what we are asked...
not anyone else.

Nor does he say to follow
popes, politicians or protestants or evangelicals.
Only Him.

The land promised in the OT
was and is eden restored,
and foreshadows going home soon ,
to eden in the other reality.

His covenant is to return to eden
...this earth will be fit only for rats
and moles, its sun will go dark
... this is a foreign land.

Ptolemy ii's servant demetrius makes clear
in the aristeas letter the intent to
change God's words.
their resulting edit is the septuagint ..
just as today some try
to enforce alliance to an earthly
kingdom into what God says.
but the septuagint problem
has been the worst.

eden is His land for us

modern christianity is
what He means by antichrist...
for it no longer listens to Him
and instead follows its heathen
leaders and calendar
and the consciousness of
the sin realm (= this earth
as part of mystery babylon)

Titus 2:1,

It is unbiblical.
Conservatives on the right who strongly support Israel are known as,
Pro Israel Republicans
Christian Zionists
Neoconservatives
Early church fathers accepted eschatological views that were pro Israel. There are also verses saying that will bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse Israel.
"I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse" (Gen 12:3) and "Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed, and whoever curses Israel will be cursed" (Num 24:9).
When it comes to the relationship between God and Israel, stay far away. Bless only. Support within that. There are some who do take it quite far. As far as Zionists go, whatever happened in 1948 was according to the will of God, which is why the world reeled in shock when it happened. There were Christians saying it would never happen, right up to when it did. They absolutely could not see it happening... except for the Dispensationalist (mainly. I'm sure there were others.) And then... it happened. Prophecy fulfilled, not ignored, supplanted, or reversed.
This article is not anti- semitic propaganda. My goal is not to stir up hate towards "Jewish people" or any ethnic group.

Anyone who has the theological belief that Christian's in America are obligated by the word of God to support Israel(jews) are deceived by man made fables.
I'm pretty sure they are tied into the whole blessed for blessing them, cursed for cursing them, and Old Testament eschatology which shows that Israel will be redeemed and the blessing that there will be. Also the will of God in moving the eschatological clock forward, and completing the prophecies of the Old Testament as given. God is immutable. Some have said that if you take the start of the final exile of Israel, the length the Bible says it will be, multiply it by seven (the Leviticus principle) the resulting date is... 1948.
Men like,
Ted Cruz
Mike Huckabee
Mark Levin
Ben Shapiro
President Trump
Etc.
Are misleading conservative Americans into believing we are spiritually obligated to support Israel militarily and financially.
Militarily and financially, maybe a little far, but you can't say that God has not blessed America since 1948. I mean, REALLY blessed America. Prior to WW II we were basically nothing. After WW II, and after, we became a super power, and all the way up to Obama, apparently the moral compass for the world. (I say that because, when Obama came in, some European leader or other said they needed to stop seeing America as the moral compass of the world.)
Now I will continue to support President Trump and I encourage everyone to do the same.
I do not have to agree with everything Trump believes to support him.

Also, I do not support hate of certain races because they are in fact doing great harm to America like Arabs( Muslim) or Jews .

Theologically they're both ignorant of the word of God therefore I reject both groups.

Scripture does not teach that Christians are required to financially support, defend, or protect the modern nation of Israel or its land.
God does not seem to be against it. Again, it appears that God has greatly blessed the US. Perhaps because of how we treat God's "wife" Israel?
These ideas arise from:
Dispensational theology
Political movements
Modern prophecy interpretations

But NOT from the New Testament itself!!!

Just use common sense.
Why would God command His people to fund a government and it's people that reject their Messiah?
Because God has not rejected them. Paul is very clear on this in Romans. Has God then rejected His children Israel. MAY IT NEVER BE. Paul is clear that once the fulness of the Gentiles has come in, God will once again turn back to Israel, and Israel will be saved. (The remnant of Israel. I believe that the remnant of Israel is all that will remain at that point.)
That would be God commanding His people to support wickedness.
1 Thessalonians 5:22,
- Abstain from every form of evil
Supporting someone in need is not a form of evil. In fact God calls us to support those in need. The early church did this to the point that Peter and the apostles appointed seven deacons to take care of that part of the church so they could focus on preaching the gospel. (Steven was one of those seven.) In the King james I Thessalonians 5:22 says "22 Abstain from all appearance of evil." I take it that taking care of people in need (Israel in this case) is the very image of evil?
Avoid every kind of evil, including endorsing or supporting it.
That isn't what it says. Like Eve you are adding to the word of God. DON'T ADD TO THE WORD OF GOD. And get the proper translation.
Did you know in Israel the ultra orthodox Jews spit on those who identify as Christian in Israel?
So what? Perhaps you were one who would have spit on those who identify as Christians in a past life. What did Jesus tell us to do? "44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
[Schroedingers person. If you walk outside and it is raining, are you just or unjust? If the sun is rising, are you evil or good?]
Is this a good enough reason to deny and turn on what Jesus Himself taught? Did Steven curse the Jews for what they did?
Here in America you would expect this behavior from Muslim groups towards "christians" not jews.
But in their own nation persecution of those who believe in Jesus as the Messiah are in danger!!!
Fact: Christian persecution is common among all religions when christianity is the minority of that area.
Paul spoke to this. Nothing new. God has foreordained this, and so shall it be until God finally deals with and redeems His people Israel. (The elect within).
You might be surprised at how many Jews have truly been touched by how SOME Christians (I should leave you out of this, right?) treat them, and are greatly moved by it. Some right into the church. Others into at least accepting Christians as estranged brothers of a sort, since we share some like beliefs, considering Christians has its roots in Israel/Judaism.
The strongest proof no one is obligated to support Israel

The old covenant land promise has ended.
The old covenant is obsolete,
Hebrews 8:13,
- in that He says, a new covenant, He has made the first obsolete Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away
Don't stop there. Go on with the rest of the chapter. I know it goes against what you are saying here, but go with it:

8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

This was written to a fully Jewish audience.
The land was part of that covenant,
Deuteronomy 28:1;8,
- Now if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God and are careful to follow all His commandments I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth and all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you, if you will obey the voice of the Lord your God,
8,
the Lord will decree a blessing on your barns and on everything to which you put your hand, the Lord your God will bless you in the land He is giving you
You left out that this is actually the covenant made with Abraham, and that covenant had no rules governing its affect. It was a covenant made with Abraham by God, on His own name. There were no stipulations made for its fulfillment. And God made promises as well, which is why scripture says Israel continues for the sake of the promises made to the forefathers.
Also note that there were curses and blessings, with a final blessing speaking of when Israel whole heartedly turns back to God.
Deuteronomy 30
"And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee,
2 And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
3 That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee.
4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
5 And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
6 And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
7 And the Lord thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

God would NEVER break/violate a covenant of promise made with Abraham, would He? He strengthened those, did He not?

" And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

First of all, the he in the verse should be lowercase because it is referring to ABRAHAM. Perhaps the NASB is an easier read:
"For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he [Abraham] would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith."
I could give you the MSG version, but it is HUGE. Talk about adding to the word. That version is a whole paragraph. It's a great explanation, but they should save it for a commentary.
So Abraham received the promise not by doing what he was told, but by trusting God, by faith. Don't add to what God has said. It is going along with all that Paul taught which was we are not saved by the law, but by faith.
God rejected Israel's Old Covenant system

When the veil was torn in two, Matthew 27:51 this symbolized:
The old covenant law fulfilled
How? Hebrews is clear that it was violated, hence the need for a new covenant between God and Israel. The new covenant is ONLY between God and Israel. We Gentiles benefit solely due to a promise made by God to Abraham in Genesis 22. Peter and Paul make it clear that Gentiles are not under the covenant, and as such, not under the law. There is no requirement for Gentiles to become Jews because we are not under the Jewish "burden" that even the Jews could not bear.

They will still be Israel, however, they will be the remnant of Israel whom God chose before the foundation of the world. The 1/3 that God does not destroy in Zechariah, but purges and purifies.
Physical descent did give covenant privileges, however, scripture is clear that that covenant was violated. Hence the need for a new covenant to replace the old [with Israel]. However, that will be with the remnant of Israel.
Circumcision = covenant identity.
Paul says christians not ethnic Jews are now the true circumcision.
That is spiritual Israel.
This does not mean ethnic Israel disappears. It means Gods covenant people are now defined by faith in Christ not ethnicity, physical circumcision or the law of Moses.
Consider the apostles. They completely misunderstood who Jesus was. They understood Him to be the Messiah, the Son of God, however, they beleived that Jesus was going to crush the Romans and return the kingdom to Israel. When they asked Jesus about it "returning the Kingdom to Israel", He didn't say it wasn't happening. He told them, indirectly, it is going to happen. The kingdom is going to be returned to Israel, however, it is not for you to know the times and seasons as ordained by the Father by His power. So yes, the Kingdom will be returned to Israel, but... it isn't for us to know when. However, so many say that the Kingdom will not be returned to Israel, in contravention to what Jesus had to say. The disciples knew nothing of the church age, so they believed that it would be soon. Just as they didn't understand that the Messiah would suffer and die first, and the Kingdom would come in the future. They moved on to the kingdom part, but knew nothing of the church until it was upon them at the day of Pentecost. And even then, they didn't know the church until God visibly expanded the scope to include the Gentiles with Cornelius and company. They were behind the times. At least Peter got it right when He said that God is not slack in His promise, but does not wish any of the elect to perish. SO... Jesus will not return until the last of the elect has been saved. (Outside of Israel, which Jesus will take care of personally. (See Zechariah)).

Faith in Christ makes a person a child of Abraham, Galatians 3:7;29

The church of Christ is the Israel of God, Galatians 6:16
Gentiles become fellow citizens of Israel, Ephesians 2:12-19
Believers are the true circumcision, Philippians 3:3
The church is the Holy nation and people of God, 1Peter 2:9-10

God rejected unbelieving Israel, not Jewish people as a race

No special treatment is to be given to any ethnicity on the earth. All are to be loved and treated as of the same importance.
No soul is more important to God. All need to hear the gospel and believe and obey it.
Those who refuse to believe will not be treated any differently by God on judgment day.

Romans 14:12,
- So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God
You have missed so much. We should serve Israel, though what this means is up to debate. Follow the words of Christ which stand in contradiction to your words. Yes, some are WAY TO LOUD in their annunciations, however, we are to bless Israel in keeping with what Jesus said. Understand, while they are the wayward child, the prodigal son, so to speak, wandering around, they will find their way back to their Father, and He will welcome them with open arms.

"17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. [God called Israel, and He will not/has not/cannot change His mind]
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Given what I said about the gifts and calling of God, the elect of Israel are whom Paul speaks of.

God does not seem to be against it. Again, it appears that God has greatly blessed the US. Perhaps because of how we treat God's "wife" Israel?

Because God has not rejected them. Paul is very clear on this in Romans. Has God then rejected His children Israel. MAY IT NEVER BE. Paul is clear that once the fulness of the Gentiles has come in, God will once again turn back to Israel, and Israel will be saved. (The remnant of Israel. I believe that the remnant of Israel is all that will remain at that point.)

That isn't what it says. Like Eve you are adding to the word of God. DON'T ADD TO THE WORD OF GOD. And get the proper translation.

So what? Perhaps you were one who would have spit on those who identify as Christians in a past life. What did Jesus tell us to do? "44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
[Schroedingers person. If you walk outside and it is raining, are you just or unjust? If the sun is rising, are you evil or good?]

Is this a good enough reason to deny and turn on what Jesus Himself taught? Did Steven curse the Jews for what they did?

Paul spoke to this. Nothing new. God has foreordained this, and so shall it be until God finally deals with and redeems His people Israel. (The elect within).

"And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee,
2 And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

They will still be Israel, however, they will be the remnant of Israel whom God chose before the foundation of the world. The 1/3 that God does not destroy in Zechariah, but purges and purifies.

Physical descent did give covenant privileges, however, scripture is clear that that covenant was violated. Hence the need for a new covenant to replace the old [with Israel]. However, that will be with the remnant of Israel.

"17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

Amen !!!

Given what I said about the gifts and calling of God, the elect of Israel are whom Paul speaks of.
Which has nothing to do with the nation today called Israel.

I do not think it is wrong to support the nation today called Israel. I do think it is not right to claim to do so for any theological reason.

I do think it is not right to claim to do so for any theological reason.
Well ... maybe "hedging our bets" just in case that whole "bless those ..." thing is still in effect. ;)

But I agree, we should mostly support Israel because it is the RIGHT thing to do.
  • [Terrorism] How many Jewish suicide bombers can you name?
  • [Tolerance] How many Arabs live in Israel and how many Jews live in Yemen?
  • [Women's Rights] Would you rather your daughter was moving to Tel Aviv (Israel), Damascus (Syria), or Cairo (Egypt)?

God does not seem to be against it. Again, it appears that God has greatly blessed the US. Perhaps because of how we treat God's "wife" Israel?
If one does not know who Israel is today then it is impossible for them to come to the right conclusions on the matter of Americans and support for a middle eastern country that claims to be Gods chosen people.

Paul makes it clear who is now spiritual Israel,
Galatians 6:15-16,
- for neither circumcision(ethnic jews) nor uncircumcision(gentiles) means anything
- BUT A NEW CREATION
- and as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them
- and upon THE ISRAEL OF GOD

Who does Paul say the Israel of God is under the new covenant of Jesus Christ?
Some ethnic group on a piece of land in the middle east that deny their Messiah and do not walk by faith in Christ?
Or those who have been redeemed by the cleasning blood of Jesus for putting their faith, trust, hope, obedience in Him?

I know which the Bible says is Spiritual Israel.

(y)
I can agree with all of this (although the second point is a bit off since an argument could be made that we are called to do good to ALL and Israel is not excluded from "all") ... but I think your point is "preferential treatment for Israel just because they were the children of Jacob" and that is not called for in the NT.

However, Modern Israel is more "civilized" than its neighbors ... which should count for something.
[By some metrics, Israel is more "civilized" than the USA ... they require far more provocation to start killing people than we do. Compare what it took to provoke the attack on Gaza with the provocation for last three US military strikes abroad.]

Which has nothing to do with the nation today called Israel.

I do not think it is wrong to support the nation today called Israel. I do think it is not right to claim to do so for any theological reason.
It has everything to do with the nation of Israel today. The remnant is within the nation of Israel. My beliefs on the topic is that by the time the beast and his armies come to attack Israel, the only Israelites that remain alive are the remnant. Jesus shows up and wipes out those armies, and then, comes to Jerusalem/Israel, and the remnant are saved. (Zechariah) It is also at that time the Kingdom is restored to Israel, and Jesus reigns from the seat of Melchizedek/David. (He is of the line of both.) Also, the capital of Melchizedek's kingdom was Salem, which is either in Jerusalem, or was what Jerusalem was prior.

Plenty of theological reasons to support Israel. However, what that support entails is up for debate.

If one does not know who Israel is today then it is impossible for them to come to the right conclusions on the matter of Americans and support for a middle eastern country that claims to be Gods chosen people.

I know which the Bible says is Spiritual Israel.
The Israel of God is the true Israel, and the bride of His Son is the church. Or as one Jew put it, Israel is the wife of Jehovah, while the church is the bride of Christ. The Old Testament is pretty clear on Israel.

15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

I would say, look at the grammar. Peace be on them. Who is them? As many as walk according to the rule which is that neither circumcision or uncircumcision availeth any thing. So peace and mercy be upon them. Also upon the Israel of God. Why treated separately? Who is the Israel of God next to those who walk according to the rule Paul gave? Why are the treated separately? Also note that no once here does Paul say anything about a new covenant of Jesus Christ. It isn't here. Gentiles have no covenant with God. There is none. We are saved solely by faith in Christ. Jews also, but they have the covenant, and scripture says that once Israel is saved, there will be a new covenant between God and Israel. I believe that is for the Millennial Kingdom. Beyond that, I haven't considered yet. That is why with the Olive tree and the branches, the Jews are ALWAYS said to be the natural branches, while Gentiles are ALWAYS considered wild branches grafted in. Why they become part of the tree, they are still considered natural or wild, and the wild do not belong, but have been made to belong. Hence Paul's call to humility on the part of Gentiles in the face of Jews. Something you seem to have forgotten.

God's promises to Abraham, and the covenant made with Israel did not cease to exist. They remain for Israel. They will at least for a time, actually possess all the land God had promised to them without a catch. Well, other then it might be a while before they attain to that which was promised Abraham.

As for America, supporting Israel is expeditious. Without Israel, there is no foothold in the Middle East. We have no friends there except for Israel. So I would say that is God blessing us for blessing Israel. The leadership just doesn't get that there is this level of benefit. I don't believe the church should have anything to do with the defense and military support of Israel. that is the business of the government ordained by God. (All government is ordained by God, scripture says). The support Christians do give to the Jews is not ignored. In fact, it can and does have an impact. Why are you so against that?

It has everything to do with the nation of Israel today. The remnant is within the nation of Israel.
The remnant was those Jews living under the Old Covenant who through grace by faith in God had truly adopted and espoused Jesus as the Messiah were saved.

Rom 9:27 And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: "Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved,

Rom 11:5 So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace.

The Israel of God is the church of God.

Peter speaking in the Spirit of God uses titles given to Old Testament Israel, NOW uses those same phrases speaking to new testament, new covenant Christians(believing Jews and Gentiles that have been born again and added to the Lords church.

1Peter 2:9,
- but  ye(Peter is speaking to new testament Christians)
- but  be are a CHOSEN GENERATION A ROYAL PRESITHOOD AN HOLY NATION

Peter cleary uses the former given to Jews in the old covenant NOW refers to born again Christians in the new covenant.

Therefore,
Galatians 6:15-16
- FOR IN CHRIST JESUS...
Only those who are believers and saved are IN CHRIST!!!

2 Corinthians 5:17,
- therefore if any man be IN CHRIST he is a NEW CREATURE...

No jew who rejected Jesus and His gospel is born a new creature.
No jew who rejected Jesus and His gospel is IN Christ!!!
Only the saved are IN Christ.

The context of Galatians 6:15-16 can only be addressed to those who are born again christians.
To claim Paul is speaking to Jews is ignorance of the letter/epistle to Galatia.
The audience is the church in Galatia!!!

Galatians 6:15-16,
- neither circumcision(jews) nor uncircumcision(gentiles) means anything
- what counts is the NEW CREATION. NIV version
- peace and mercy to all who follow this rule- to the Israel of God

The Israel of God are those who follow this rule.
The Israel of God are those who are the new creation.
The Israel of God recieve peace and mercy.

Question: Do unbelieving Jews who rejected their Messiah reject the gospel receive mercy and peace from God?
Do you see how this cannot be Jews who are referred to as the Israel of God?

What is this rule Paul speaks of?
The Greek word Paul uses here means,
Standard
Principle
Measuring line

In context "this rule" refers to the principle Paul just stated in Galatians 6:15,

The rule is,
What matters most is being a new creation IN CHRIST!!!
Not keeping the law of Moses(the circumcision).
Nor rejecting it like a badge of honor(the uncircumcision).
But living out the new life through the cross!!!

Throughout Galatians Paul contrasts,
The old covenant Law vs the Spirit
Flesh(Jewish bloodline) vs Spirit
External religious markers vs inward transformation

Earlier Paul said in Galatians 5:16,
- Walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh

The idea flows into the next chapter, Galatians 6:15-16.
Living by the Spirit
Boasting only in the cross of Christ not the flesh
Recognizing salvation produces anew creation not mere rule keeping

Why peace and mercy come by this rule.
Those who live by this standard,
Are freed from legalism and self righteousness
Rest in Gods grace rather than performance
Experience reconciliation with God and unity among believers in Christ

This rule = the gospel principle that what counts is the new creation IN CHRIST.
Lived out by the Spirit not adherence to the Old covenant Law of Moses.

The true Israel can only be Gods new testament children.
His children/people today are christians not ethnic Jews who reject Jesus and His word.

The present time that Paul speaks of in Romans 11:5 must mean at the time he wrote.
As it was true with Elijah, it was true with Paul, it is still true today, unless you believe that every last Jew alive today, in the church and out, is actually going to hell since there are no elect in Israel today.... according to you.

The Israel of God is the church of God.
That isn't what the verse says. It says the church are those who "walk according to this rule". The Israel of God is mentioned separately from this group. It also seems special, at least in the AKJV, because the two groups are split by what God will do. It is as though it is being added to the first group mentioned "walk according to this rule", and the Israel of God is just tacked on because they are already promised that. The important note is it doesn't simply say Israel, but the Israel of God. Those in Israel who are saved. They are circumcised both physically, since God commanded Abraham by covenant that every one of his descendants is to be circumcised, and by faith, circumcision of the heart. The point isn't so much the distinction, but that God has a specific program for Israel, starting back from the Old Testament, and ending at the end of Daniels seven sets of seven, while the church has a specific program that started at Pentecost, and ends with the rapture.

You lost the context.
Peter cleary uses the former given to Jews in the old covenant NOW refers to born again Christians in the new covenant.
Not exactly. You lose sight of the context.
Therefore,
Galatians 6:15-16
- FOR IN CHRIST JESUS...
Only those who are believers and saved are IN CHRIST!!!

2 Corinthians 5:17,
- therefore if any man be IN CHRIST he is a NEW CREATURE...

No jew who rejected Jesus and His gospel is born a new creature.
No jew who rejected Jesus and His gospel is IN Christ!!!
Only the saved are IN Christ.
And Jews are saved. Not all of them. Any Jew who rejected Jesus can accept and be saved. Of that Paul is VERY clear, to the point of saying God would happily cut you off, and would gladly and easily reattach the Jew who has come to believe. The kindness and strictness of God. If you do not continue in said kindness, He will cut you off.
The context of Galatians 6:15-16 can only be addressed to those who are born again christians.
To claim Paul is speaking to Jews is ignorance of the letter/epistle to Galatia.
The audience is the church in Galatia!!!
The whole argument in Galatians is to take on the Judaizers, who were telling the Gentiles, and Jewish Gentiles that they had to convert to Judaism, be circumcised, and follow the law in order to be saved. The whole book is talking about how faith is the way, faith is better, and the law is the law of death. To put oneself under the law is to consign oneself to death.
Galatians 6:15-16,
- neither circumcision(jews) nor uncircumcision(gentiles) means anything
- what counts is the NEW CREATION. NIV version
- peace and mercy to all who follow this rule- to the Israel of God
Please do not change waht God said.
Amplified version:
16 Peace and mercy be upon all who walk by this rule [who discipline themselves and conduct their lives by this principle], and upon the [true] Israel of God (Jewish believers).

The Gentiles are covered by the first part. The believing Jews are covered by the second. Peace and Mercy was to be theirs under the covenant made with Abraham, and with Moses. While the covenant with Moses has been violated, the covenant with Abraham has not. Hence people of faith can be saved. If the covenant was broken, then there would be no basis for people of faith to be saved.
The Israel of God are those who follow this rule.
The Israel of God are those who are the new creation.
The Israel of God recieve peace and mercy.
No, the people who follow this rule, are.. the people who follow this rule. If Paul did not intend for distinction, then he would not have mentioned people who follow this rule at all. As written, it is understood that the true Israel of God follows the rule. Yet Paul specifically mentions "those who follow this rule". If they are one and the same, why mentione it at all? It says "Israel of God" because it is speaking to Jewish believers, and not Jewish non-believers. Those who truly are Israel, who stand rightly under the covenant (not under the law). Those circumcised (Abrahamic Covenant), and also circumcised in the heart. The believing Jews.
Question: Do unbelieving Jews who rejected their Messiah reject the gospel receive mercy and peace from God?
No, which is why it says Israel of God, and not simply Israel. Details matter. You don't know more than Paul.
Do you see how this cannot be Jews who are referred to as the Israel of God?
Except it is? Jewish believers. I understand you probably hate the fact that the Jews started the church, and were the basis of its leadership until the Gentile believers thrust them out. Who was it that brought the gospel to the Gentiles? The Jews. The apostles were all... Jews. James was.. Jesus brother, a Jew. Would you say that Jesus is not referred to with Israel of God? He is shut out because He is a Jew?
What is this rule Paul speaks of?
The Greek word Paul uses here means,
Standard

In context "this rule" refers to the principle Paul just stated in Galatians 6:15,

The rule is,
What matters most is being a new creation IN CHRIST!!!
Not keeping the law of Moses(the circumcision).
Nor rejecting it like a badge of honor(the uncircumcision).
But living out the new life through the cross!!!
No. That is not the pricinple, but is part of it. Read the context. He is judging and speaking of the Judaizers. He says that they compell Gentiles to be circumcised (before other Jews) so they are not judged for being faithful to the cross (instead of the covenant/law). They themselves don't keep the law, but to boast in the flesh (before other Jews?) they compel the Greeks to be circumcised. So what is the principle Paul lives by?
"14 But [f]far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through [g]which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new [h]creation. 16 And all who will follow this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God."

The principle is that any boasting is in the cross of Christ. No works. No external actions. Salvation is in Christ alone by His cross. No boasting in anything we might have done. Boast in the cross of Christ. A principle to live by.
Because of the cross of Christ there is neither circumcision, nor uncircumcision but a singular new creation. Nothing added to it. Again, his attack against the Judaizers who were running amok wherever Paul went. They followed him like a plague when they knew where he was going.
Throughout Galatians Paul contrasts,
The old covenant Law vs the Spirit
Flesh(Jewish bloodline) vs Spirit
External religious markers vs inward transformation
Yes. The whole book is his treatise against the Judaizers, and against those who held the Law above Christ. The Law was done away with in that Christ fulfilled it. He didn't abolish it. If He abolished it, univeralism wouldn't be a heresy, it would be the rule of the day. To abolish the Law means there no longer is a law. All forgiven for there is no longer anything "illegal". Jesus fulfilled the Law, making it possible for us to be saved from the Law.

This doesn't support your argument. Great passages, but your argument isn't here.
Why peace and mercy come by this rule.
Those who live by this standard,
Are freed from legalism and self righteousness
Rest in Gods grace rather than performance
Experience reconciliation with God and unity among believers in Christ
This does not support your arugment. Great passages, but your argument isn't here.
This rule = the gospel principle that what counts is the new creation IN CHRIST.
Lived out by the Spirit not adherence to the Old covenant Law of Moses.
That is not it. The rule is to not boast in anything but Christ, because we are solely saved by Christ, not by anything we have ever done. And no, it has nothing to do with the covenant, but everything to do with the Law. The covenant is broken because the Law is no longer over said covenant. God will make a new covenant with Israel to replace that one, and Christ will be over it, not the Law. The church does not have a covenant with God, but falls into the promise God made to Abraham. In his seed [Christ] ALL the nations of the world will be blessed. So while Israel is under covenant (Abrahamic), and are his descendants, all physically, some both physically and by faith, we are found in God's promise to Abraham made after Abraham was to sacrifice his son Isaac. That faith brought the promise. It is by that faith that Gentiles have any place before God.
The true Israel can only be Gods new testament children.
His children/people today are christians not ethnic Jews who reject Jesus and His word.
True Israel are Jewish believers. Gentiles are the church. There is an intersection there because saved Jews are also part of the church, however, even as Peter and James state in the Acts church council, the covenant is for the Jews. Peter says how can they put this burden on the Gentiles that even the Jews could not bear. So... they didn't.

What you need to understand is, the reason that there are elect Jews today is that while Jews have rejected Christ as their King, they can come to believe in Him. Those who rejected GOD Himself, on the other hand, that is completely different. I got that from what God said to Elijah. The elect back then weren't people who accepted Jesus (though their faith saved them, because they would have), it was those who did not reject God and run after idols. They did not sacrifice their children to Molech. They stayed true to God and the covenant that God (since they were elect) had inprinted on their heart. God kept them. (Kind of puts holes in the Arminian beliefs.)

God is not done with Israel yet. However, He took time out of the universe to have to gospel sent to the Gentiles. We are still in that time. There are a couple of ways to look at it. The last Gentile breaks down in surrender and the end times finally begins, or the last Gentile breaks down in surrender that is supposed to break down in surrender before the end times, and then some who God set aside to be saved during the end times will be saved then. At the end of the tribulation, Jesus will fulfill the prophecy in Zechariah, and all Israel (those who survived) will be saved by Jesus personally, just as Saul was saved personally by Jesus on the road to Damascus. There are similarities to Paul's conversion and Zechariah. Jesus presented Himself to Saul, and Saul recognized who He was after just a few words from Jesus. When Jesus comes down to Jerusalem after wiping out the armies of the beast, and his allies, they will see Him for who He is (Him whom they have pierced) and recognize exactly who He is. The whole of Israel (those who remain as Zechariah says), will break down in national mourning, and God will receive them. It will be beautiful. The rebels against God will join those of us who will be waiting for them. At that time, Jesus may remind the disciples of their question "Will you now return the Kingdom to Israel" and say, yep.

As it was true with Elijah, it was true with Paul, it is still true today, unless you believe that every last Jew alive today, in the church and out, is actually going to hell since there are no elect in Israel today.... according to you.
The elect of Israel today are the Jews who have received the gift of eternal life just as every other saint under the New Covenant. The Old Covenant is no longer. National Israel is no longer a chosen nation. We all, including Jews, are sons of God, through faith (Gal 3:26).

You forget that Hebrews speaks to this directly. There is a replacement to the Old Covenant.

"7 For if that first covenant had been free of fault, no [g]circumstances would have been sought for a second. 8 For in finding fault with [h]the people, He says,

“Behold, days are coming, says the Lord,
When I will bring about a new covenant
With the house of Israel and the house of Judah,
9 Not like the covenant which I made with their fathers
On the day I took them by the hand
To bring them out of the land of Egypt;
For they did not continue in My covenant,
And I did not care about them, says the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel
After those days, declares the Lord:
[j]I will put My laws into their minds,
And write them on their hearts.
And I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.
11 And they will not teach, each one his fellow citizen,
And each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
For they will all know Me,
From [k]the least to the greatest of them.
12 For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings,
And their sins I will no longer remember.”"

No, I haven't forgotten. The Old Covenant is no longer. The Old Covenant was never about the salvation of the Jews. It was about bringing salvation, through Jesus Christ, to the whole world, including the Jews. Salvation was, is, and will always be by grace through faith.

The Israel of God is the church of God
That isn't what the verse says. It says the church are those who "walk according to this rule". The Israel of God is mentioned separately from this group
Galatians 6:15-16,
- for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation
- and as many as walk according to this rule, peace upon them and upon the Israel of God

Peace upon them(christian)
And peace upon the Israel of God

The Israel of God is not unbelieving jews.
The Holy Spirit speaking through Paul would not say peace upon jews that have hardened their hearts against God by rejecting their Messiah.

It can sound like Paul is speaking to two groups.
But when you learn what Paul is arguing throughout all of Galatians you wont come to that conclusion.

Paul pronounces peace upon
As many as walk according to this rule
And upon the Israel of God

The key grammatical issue is the English word and

The Greek word is kai. It can mean
And
Even
That is
Namely

So the phrase can literally be read as:
- peace and mercy upon all who walk by this rule even the Israel of God

So in other words one group described in two ways, not two separate groups.

It would odd for Paul to suddenly re-divide believers into,
Christians
Plus a special sub group of unbelieving ethnic Israel

Throughout the whole letter Paul insists,
Gentile believers are not second class
Circumcision does not define Gods people
Gods people are defined by new creation in Christ 6:15.

Paul only refers to believers in Galatians as,
Abraham's seed Gal. 3:29
The children of promise, Gal. 4:28
The circumcision, Philippians 3:3

You say it must be two groups but Paul only gives one blessing,
Galatians 6:16,
- peace and mercy(one blessing) to all, all, all, who walk by this rule even to the Israel of God

The blessing is given to ALL who walk by this rule.
As I've already shown this rule is the gospel principle.

Galatians 6:15,
- it doesn't matter whether we have been circumcised or not, what counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation

Therefore Paul is only blessing peace and mercy to all who live by this rule( the gospel rule of new creation in Christ.

Since no unbelieving jew lives by this rule. No unbelieving jew receives this blessing.
And since the Israel of God recieves this blessing. The Israel of God must be believing born again christians which are the church of God aka the Israel of God.
