Total Depravity

Excellent! Repentance first, forgiveness second. Calvinism just exploded right before your eyes.
No, forgiveness is a true fact on the basis of Christs death alone. Everyone He died for is forgiven. Even while in unbelief and depravity, the elect are forgiven of all sins for Christs sake. Eph 4:32

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Also this thread is on total depravity, so Im not going to be going back and forth with you about forgiveness of sins because you dont understand it any way.

I see that you now wish to bail out on Acts 2:38 because you can't stand the fact that it's clearly repentance first, forgiveness second in that verse.

"Repent…for the forgiveness of your sins” (Acts 2:38).

As for Eph 4:32, those are believers who already believed, so do the math.

Acts 2:38 annihilates total depravity because repentance is demanded of us before we are ever forgiven. You just can't stand that fact and you now wish to bail out. Stop acting like edited and come over to the truth.

"Repent…for the forgiveness of your sins” (Acts 2:38).

Do you want to discuss total depravity because you completely dont know the first thing about forgiveness of sins.

Acts 2:38 does annihilate total depravity because repentance is demanded of us before we are ever forgiven. Repentence first, forgiveness second. I see that you just can't stand that fact and want to run away from Acts 2:38 as fast as you possibly can.
