The Issue of Limited Atonement

I showed it to you and you still can't see it

God loves the unsaved people of the world.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God loves the world. So far you or anyone else has yet to provide any scriptures that says God hates the world.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:16-17

God desires that the world through His Son would be saved.

  • who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4

So far you have not provided any scriptures that says God doesn’t want all men to be saved.

It seems to me that when men obey what man says ( John Calvin, ect. ) rather than what God says, there is grave error!
It also seems to me as though some think they know more or better than what God's plan is.

We may NOT have the complete letter but please let us have the Right SPIRIT. The letter will do little for a soul without the Spirit !
2 Corinthians 2:3-6 .....Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”

Has nothing to do with nationality, the saved world of Jn 3:17 is multi racial
@Obadiah is right, of course.

The people of Israel are called the elect of God....because He chose them from whom to reveal Himself.
We are also the elect of God....
BUT BASED ON HIS CONDITIONS:
BELIEVE IN JESUS
OBEY

A God that would pick and choose who would be saved based on NO CONDITIONS AT ALL...
would be an UNJUST God....

And since we know that God is a JUST GOD....
Calvinist theology must necessarily be wrong.

Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 2 Timothy 2:10

Paul desired that the elect also may obtain salvation.

Of course He desired it for the elect, its only for them DUH

John 1:29 is about a forgiven world,

29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John a jew, and a saved jew beheld Jesus as the Lamb of God and heres why:

The idea of a lamb being slain was associated with the forgiveness of sins.

When Jesus came on the scene, John the Baptist announced Him as the “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” John 1:29. The mention of a lamb who was to take away sin was a very familiar concept to the Jew. He had a vivid picture in his mind.

What this represented. Yet there was something that was unique in the lamb described by John. The uniqueness was in the scope of accomplishment. The death of this lamb would take away the sins of the world.

None of the other animal sacrifices had been able to accomplish this. A lamb could be slain for the sins of a man. A lamb might occasionally be slain for the sins of a family. There were even times when a lamb was sacrifices for the sins of the entire nation. But never had there been a sacrifice for the sins of the world.

So John 1:29 is a forgiven world, in contrast to a condemned world 1 Cor 11:32

32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

This world condemned and the forgiven world of Jn 1:29 are not the same world !

The elect are Jews.
