Is Acts 2:38 the gospel? No one first hears the gospel
Then the person receives the gospel by faith
The person repents of their sins
The person becomes born again
Followed after with water baptism.

Is Acts 2:38 the gospel?
Got it coveredWhat did Jesus say in Matthew 28:18-19 ?
Is Jesus inferior to the Apostles ?Is Acts 2:38 the gospel?
Try the 3000 at Pentecost.No.
Tell me any Gentile that was told to be water baptized for the forgiveness of sins in order to receive the Holy Spirit.
Are you telling me that acts chapter 2 verse 38 is not the gospel? Is Jesus inferior to the Apostles ?
Who has authority over who ?
Who is the Living Word who was God ?
Who the Truth ?
Fred, are you proposing that only the Jews had to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins and not the Gentiles?
Have you read acts chapter 10?
To be baptized in a specific, singular name of the titles, father, son, and Holy Ghost. I am a father, and I am a son. That is my title. Please don’t get baptized in my name if that is a name. What did Jesus say in Matthew 28:18-19 ?
Not at all read my last post. Are you telling me that acts chapter 2 verse 38 is not the gospel?
Chapter 10 shows us, the Gentiles being commanded to be baptized in the name of Jesus. Down goes your paper tower.Yes.
Many times.
No, you have Peter contradicting Jesus. you need a quick fix. I sent you a video. Not at all read my last post.
You have Acts 2:38 contradiction Jesus in Matthew 28 and I have resolved the surface contradiction.
Except Jesus and the Aposltes were not oneness as in modalism. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are not each other but distinct in Persons. To be baptized in a specific, singular name of the titles, father, son, and Holy Ghost. I am a father, and I am a son. That is my title. Please don’t get baptized in my name if that is a name.
No Peter was emphasizing the importance and authority of Jesus as both Lord and God.No, you have Peter contradicting Jesus. you need a quick fix. I sent you a video.
Jesus was not oneness nor the apostles. Oneness is wrong and trinity is wrong. The real oneness nobody teaches anymore. It is God inside Jesus unifying God and man. Never heard of that?Except Jesus and the Aposltes were not oneness as in modalism. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are not each other but distinct in Persons.
Also since Peter was a Jew and he was preaching to the Jews who rejected Jesus as their Messiah he was emphasizing the importance of Jesus as Lord, as God. They knew the Father was God so to baptize in Jesus name was a confession of their believing He was both their Lord and their God.
That’s a stretchNo Peter was emphasizing the importance and authority of Jesus as both Lord and God.
