Salvation is according to the will of God

You cant separate that which .is joined together Where God is propitiated He is merciful and forgiving of their sins and unrighteousness. So the whole world of 1 Jn 2:2 is covered by this blessing, in fact its the New Covenant world. So when unlearned folk state that 1 Jn 2:2 is all humanity its a false teaching, all mankind isnt covered by this New Covenant blessing.
Please show me where John says “new covenant world”; all I see is ὅλου τοῦ κόσμου, which is literally “all the world”. Moreover, “all the world” is contrasted with “and not only ours”, which means “all the world” cannot refer to believers, which “ours” means.

There is no distinct designation that qualifies “all the world” as all the covenant world. The syntax does not allow that!

You must be careful with any dictionary of Biblical Greek and Hebrew as you must be careful of any translation from the Greek and Hebrew. Dictionaries, just like translations can exhibit the theological biases of the authors. It like Strong's dictionaries, but it is not above some biases. Dictionaries like translations should be compared in any discussions where the meaning of scripture is being studied.
Well I don’t disagree with you, but Strong is a source cited by all scholars, regardless of their views.

Christ died a new covenant death as surety Matt 26:28

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Now was this also when He shed His Blood Jn 12:32

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

I am not a scholar, but I use Strong more than any other. It is my go-to Greek and Hebrew dictionary. But I also know to be careful, particularly in those "touchy" passages.

Between Strong, Thayer, and BDAG one finds the true meaning of a word. All three are indispensable.

Salvation is being saved from spiritual death by being made spiritually alive. It is a supernatural act, a miracle of God
Eph 2:5

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

The dead in sin sinner is totally passive in this phase of Salvation !

One is regenerated, indwelt, made alive by the spirit upon faith.

Acts 2:38 (LEB) — 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 3:2 (LEB) — 2 I want only to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Galatians 3:5 (LEB) — 5 Therefore does the one who gives you the Spirit and who works miracles among you do so by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Ephesians 1:13 (LEB) — 13 in whom also you, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also when you believed you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

John 7:38–39 (LEB) — 38 the one who believes in me. Just as the scripture said, ‘Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.’ ” 39 (Now he said this concerning the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were about to receive. For the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.)

Galatians 3:14 (LEB) — 14 in order that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

It is not true that the dead in sin sinner is totally passive in being saved. Listen to what Jesus said.

John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. 25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live".

It is the one who hears the word of Jesus [the gospel] and believes the one who sent Him [God] has eternal life [saved].

Paul teaches that everyone has "the measure of FAITH".....

So, this is innate, its God given to everyone.

Now, if you want to go to Heaven, then give God YOUR FAITH in Christ., and YOUR "Faith is counted by God as (Christ's) righteousness".. that is 'imputed".
In other words once you give God YOUR Faith....= in Christ ..........then God imputes HIS Righteousness unto you, as "the GIFT of Righteousness", and God declares you Righteous, and Paul teaches that this is "justification by Faith".

If we study how Abraham was accepted by God, we find that HIS FAITH was counted........and that is exactly the same for US.

Now, If you dont want God's "Gift of Salvation".. then place YOUR FAITH in The Buddha, or in Allah, or in Scientology, or in Science, and God will accept YOUR CHOICE now, and after you die.

Sorry, but before being saved, one must have faith.

Eph 2:8–9 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Rom 10:9–10 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Acts 16:31 They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,
Rom 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Gal 2:16 nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.
John 6:47 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.
Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
Rom 3:22–24 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;
Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.
John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
Rom 1:16–17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “But the righteous man shall live by faith.”
Gal 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
John 5:24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
Rom 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,

Sorry, but before being saved, one must have faith.
According to Eph 2:5 man is totally passive in being saved, life from dead in sin

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

This saving occured when the elect were dead in sin, not believers.

Wrong

Ephesians 2:8 (NASB 95) — 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

Salvation is supplied to believers.

Man is totally passive in being saved by Grace Eph 2:5 and also in Eph 2:8 saved is still in the passive voice , perfect participle, the sinner isn't active in the faith, its rooted in being saved by grace, from Eph 2:5 The Faith is supplied by Grace in the being saved process because he was dead. Simply put the sinner has Faith after he has been made alive by grace

Salvation is supplied to believers.
Believing is supplied by Salvation by Grace and thats according to the will of God Eph 1:19

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Thats Grace Eph 3:7

7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

The word power here dynamis is the same word for power in Eph 1:19

The word is used of the divine power considered as acting upon the minds of men,

Sorry being totally passive is not mentioned in the text

God must do the saving, but scripture says God saves those that believe.

Acts 16:31 They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,

Phil 3:9and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,
