Sorry but all your playing around with the Greek is just a silly smokescreen which doesn't do anything to prove how you're using the term! OK God has given us an assignment and responsibility to believe on him and with that may come persecutions. Nobody speaks against that God gave us this thing to carry out that is to believe on him. Everyone, not just the Jailer, is enabled by God to believe by hearing the word of God. Read Rom 10:8-13. Some are willing to do so and others are not. The Jailer was willing to do so. Nobody is zapped into believing.
Rom 10:8-13 says nothing about regeneration when one confesses Jesus, believes that Jesus is raised from the dead, and is subsequently saved.

It can't be LIFE for, for you LIFE came before believing. Regeneration is LIFE!
So what exactly does believing do for you?
For Calvinists belief is just an afterthought that needs to be inserted somewhere anywhere into its doctrines so that hopefully what the Bible says about belief is covered.
