Let me show you more of Paul's Doctrine,
@EclipseEventSigns
= To be born again, means that you have been reestablished spiritually with God, exactly as Adam was before He sinned and lost this spiritual union.
See....God as "2nd Adam"... became one of us to restore spiritual union for everyone who will "Believe on Jesus" and be born again.
Being born again, is God restoring
ETERNAL spiritual union with you, into Himself. as "one with God" "In Christ".
The reason that its eternal, is because God became a Virgin born man 2000 yrs ago, and created an eternal blood atonement that is Christ on the Cross, the
New Covenant... And this is an ETERNAL Redemption paid for by the
blood of Jesus...., and you have it if you are born again.
Here is how a person can know they have God's Redemption..
A.) "Christ in you, the hope of Glory"... ."Glory" is Heaven.
Born again, born of God, born of the Spirit and born of Him(Jesus) are all synonyms. We know when Jesus spoke to Nicodemus that he was not born again. Jesus told him of his need to be born from above.
John 3:3
3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is
born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."
John 3:6
6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is
born of the Spirit is spirit.
1 John 2:29
29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is
born of Him.
1 John 3:9
9 No one who is
born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him;
1 John 4:7
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is
born of God and knows God.
1 John 5:1
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is
born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the
child born of Him.
1 John 5:4
4 For whatever is
born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.
1 John 5:18-19
18 We know that no one who
is born of God sins; but He who was
born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.
1 Corinthians 2:10-16
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What
we have received is not the spirit of the world, but
the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15
The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for,
“Who has known the mind of the Lord
so as to instruct him?”
But we have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of
the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
2 Corinthians 2:21-22 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,
22 set his seal of ownership on us, and
put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
2 Corinthians 5:5 Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has
given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Romans 8:9-11 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed
the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.
10 But if
Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life[
d] because of righteousness.
11 And if
the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead
is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of
his Spirit who lives in you.
Titus 3:5
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing
of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
And Peter agrees with Paul and Jesus on the new birth taking place at salvation.
1 Peter 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be
born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1 Peter 1:23
For you have been
born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
And John
1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is
born of God and knows God
