Need a reason to believe Calvinists are who they claim to be?

What do you think it means "to please God"? So you think that an nonbelieving mother loving her child or nursing her child pleases God?
Sure it does but it is not enough. Just like when you pretend that in faith doing good pleases God in and of itself.
Everyone pretends they are "diligently" seeking God.

Just for the record, there is a HUGE difference in believing that God rewards them who diligently seek Him and actually diligently seeking Him.

One is faith. The other isn't. It is reality.

Notice the requirement of just simply believing that God rewards those who diligently seek Him.

In other words, believing that God will do what He said He will do.

I actually believe this myself. Sometimes I forget. Many times I fail. I don't pretend that endless repentance makes it all go away.

You're no different than most any Arminanist. You make faith void. The only way any person can confirm faith is through the purity of love. You have made faith dependent upon works when it is dependent upon love.
Obeying God by doing His works makes love void. You got scripture for your teaching?

I don't pretend that endless repentance makes it all go away.
Endless repentance is not repantance.
Repeating the same sin over and over and over and asking forgiveness is not true repentance.
A drug addicted man can repent for decades.
But until he overcomes his drug addiction he has not truly Biblically repented.

A porn addict can repent of this sin for decades.
But until he overcomes His addiction to porn he has not truly Biblically repented.

We will fail but at one point we must overcome.
When we do, that is true repentance.

If you were paying attention, you already know that I have shared it with you.

1 Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

There are others.

Again. I've told you before. You can do "work" without faith in Him. Happens all the time. You can't please GOD without faith.

Endless repentance is not repantance.

How many times have you repented in your life?

Repeating the same sin over and over and over and asking forgiveness is not true repentance.

Then why do you sin over and over again?

A drug addicted man can repent for decades.
But until he overcomes his drug addiction he has not truly Biblically repented.

Ah. Good analogy. You do realize that addicts are just a few steps away from repeating their addictions. Right?

That isn't OVERCOMING.

A porn addict can repent of this sin for decades.
But until he overcomes His addiction to porn he has not truly Biblically repented.

Yeah. I know. You're judgmental. After all, I need to obey you right?

We will fail but at one point we must overcome.
When we do, that is true repentance.

Funny. You just said "we will fail" when you just said you must overcome.

Which is it?

So Noah's obedience to God was without void of love.

No love is the motivation for doing Gods works,
Love itself is a good work, John 13:34-35.
Christ commands us to love,
This is our motivation for obedience John 14:14 ; 1John 5:3
Motivation for service to God, 1Corinthians 13.
Love is power to get us ready to meet the Lord, 2Timothy 4:7-8.

The Pharisees struggled with the love aspect, John 5:42 ; Luke 11:42 ; Matthew 23:23
So our salvation is connected to becoming like Christ.
We are to love as He loved

I love you just as Christ loves you.

So Noah's obedience to God was without void of love.

Never said anything about Noah.

You're struggling with it too. Let me prove it to you.

I love you just as Christ loves you.

That is a lie. A bold face lie. You don't love me like Christ does. While I was yet a sinner, Christ loved me. The love of Christ is very unique.

Maybe you don't know this much at all.

I could go on but I'm going let you answer. Lets see what you know about God's love. You're going to prove yourself to others.

Its commanded that we love as Chtist loves, John 13:34-35.
It's not something we just get. It's something we strive for.

Since Christ Himself commands that se love as He loves I'm completely confident we can do what God instructs us to do.

It must. You keep doing it........

I feel sorry for you. I really do. You are so caught up in this nonsense you can't see what you're doing.
Not the same sin, I do not keep doing it.
But I appreciate your encouragement to be honest with myself.
I will strive to do better in the future.

Geesh....

Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Jesus is infinite. Jesus only spent a little time here. Pay attention. There is context to ALL WORDS.

Now notice....
Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

It's not something we just get. It's something we strive for.

Since Christ Himself commands that se love as He loves I'm completely confident we can do what God instructs us to do.

You don't. You're being dishonest.

No worries friend.
I know I'm doing well, Galatians 6:9-10 ; James 3:13

You're not at all. You need help.

You just admitted that you have endless repented yet you've criticized just that.

It is called hypocrisy. You're pretending you're something you're not. Just like every Arminian that has ever existed. They are always claiming the impossible and pretending they do the impossible.

Strive? I thought you always accomplished? Do you plan on repenting again?

You can't claim you're not repeating sin. Who in the world would ever believe such?
