Looking for Jesus according to Mark

Obedience and Discipline
(Deuteronomy 4:1–14)

1You shall therefore love the LORD your God and always keep His charge, His statutes, His ordinances, and His commandments.

2Know this day that it is not your children who have known and seen the discipline of the LORD your God: His greatness, His mighty hand, and His outstretched arm; 3the signs and works He did in Egypt to Pharaoh king of Egypt and all his land; 4what He did to the Egyptian army and horses and chariots when He made the waters of the Red Seaa engulf them as they pursued you, and how He destroyed them completely, even to this day; 5what He did for you in the wilderness until you reached this place; 6and what He did in the midst of all the Israelites to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab the Reubenite, when the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them, their households, their tents, and every living thing that belonged to them.

7For it is your own eyes that have seen every great work that the LORD has done.

God’s Great Blessings
(Joshua 1:1–9)

8You shall therefore keep every commandment I am giving you today, so that you may have the strength to go in and possess the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 9and so that you may live long in the land that the LORD swore to your fathers to give them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

10For the land that you are entering to possess is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated on foot, like a vegetable garden. 11But the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks in the rain from heaven. 12It is a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning to the end of the year.

13So if you carefully obey the commandments I am giving you today, to love the LORD your God and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, 14then I will provideb rain for your land in season, the autumn and spring rains, that you may gather your grain, new wine, and oil. 15And I will provide grass in the fields for your livestock, and you will eat and be satisfied.

16But be careful that you are not enticed to turn aside to worship and bow down to other gods, 17or the anger of the LORD will be kindled against you. He will shut the heavens so that there will be no rain, nor will the land yield its produce, and you will soon perish from the good land that the LORD is giving you.

Remember God’s Words

18Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as reminders on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 19Teach them to your children, speaking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 20Write them on the doorposts of your houses and on your gates, 21so that as long as the heavens are above the earth, your days and those of your children may be multiplied in the land that the LORD swore to give your fathers.

22For if you carefully keep all these commandments I am giving you to follow—to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him— 23then the LORD will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations greater and stronger than you. 24Every place where the sole of your foot treads will be yours. Your territory will extend from the wilderness to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Western Sea.c 25No man will be able to stand against you; the LORD your God will put the fear and dread of you upon all the land, wherever you set foot, as He has promised you.

A Blessing and a Curse

26See, today I am setting before you a blessing and a curse— 27a blessing if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God that I am giving you today, 28but a curse if you disobey the commandments of the LORD your God and turn aside from the path I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.

29When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess, you are to proclaim the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal. 30Are not these mountains across the Jordan, west of the road toward the sunset, in the land of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah opposite Gilgal near the Oakd of Moreh?

31For you are about to cross the Jordan to enter and possess the land that the LORD your God is giving you. When you take possession of it and settle in it, 32be careful to follow all the statutes and ordinances that I am setting before you today.

- Everything Yah.weh told the Hebrews to do they didn’t do!

- Everything Yah.weh told the Hebrews not to do they did!

- Everything Yah.weh told men to do they haven’t been doing!

- Everything Yah.weh told men not to do they have been doing!

Someone said:

Yahweh, the only Living God, calls it perfection. Because His Word of Jesus on our Creation is Perfect. And it creates Perfection. That is why we are called to walk in Perfection. In the Holy Spirit of God's Perfect Love in Grace we enter being it.

43 ¶Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

- My answer:

- Thanks to Adam, we lost perfection!

- And we are far away from it!

- We can see wherever we want on earth and we can only see trash!

- As revelation tells us, this human society is going to be destroyed meaning it is completely away from Yah.weh!

- And Revelation chapter 19 speaks about all kinds of people!

- In Revelation chapter 20, we are told about a period of 1,000 years!

- Jesus will reign as king and teach the nations again!

- During this period, the devil won’t be able to mislead the nations!

- After this period, the devil will be released and he will mislead the nations again!

- And guess what?

- Revelation 20:8 tells us that many will follow the devil as usual!

- They will be “like the sand of the seashore”!

- But they will be destroyed forever!

- Then it will be possible to speak about perfection!

- Before it is only nonsense!

- So of course, we must keep learning and studying about Yah.weh but not according to the wisdom of this world which is a dead end!

Someone said: (answering this sentence:- All religions were good to nothing in this area! )

I agree. The Living God, Jehovah/Yahweh our "Abba Father/Daddy" in Jesus didn't give us a "mindset" which is a religion. He gave us His Life in Jesus to Live and be the same as He is. Just entering as Babies and Growing up to be a Bride and Wife in Equality. Just with a different Function and Ability and Power.

- My answer:

- We can think about Jesus’ model prayer:

- He showed us the way to pray, he didn’t tell us to repeat the same words, he told us to pray with our hearts!

- He encouraged us to develop a personal relationship to Yah.weh and the prayer is essential to such a deep relationship!

- What is the reality?

- Completely different or far away from Jesus’ teaching!

Someone said: (answering this sentence: - So of course, we must keep learning about Yah.weh but not according to man’s knowledge or tradition which leads nowhere or is a dead end!)

Amen! We learn now by Him telling us personally. We call that Revelation. And in Revealing it He creates that very Life in His Kids for all to see. When they become Living Bibles. Just as His Word, Jesus, on our Creation was.

- My answer:

- Yah.weh keeps teaching us through his Bible!

- And he uses a great variety through 66 books, not one or two!

- And they were written by many writers!

- And there are two parts written in mainly two languages!

- Each one is essential and to understand Yah.weh’s message, we need to understand the two parts!

- If we only study one, we will never understand the Bible!

- Not only that, if we only study one, it implies an incredibly lack of respect which is quite usual among men!

- Thus, why should Yah.weh care about them?

- He won’t!

Someone said:

In the Perfect Words of Jesus from Yahweh our "Abba Father/Daddy" we got the Perfect Creation of our New Life in Jesus. To Live from the moment we get Revelation on a Perfect Characteristic of our Daddy it is immediately Perfectly Created in us.

When se see the Words of Jesus as only teaching the mind then of course it can not create the Life it was given to Create in us.

The Words of the Creator is not given to the mind of humans to understand. They are creating Life of Him in His Kids. They are giving birth to them as His Kids and they are raising His Kids in His Life.

- My answer:

- The problem is that “Daddy” is going to destroy human society twice within a period of 1,000 years!

- And in both cases, the majority will be destroyed!

- I don’t see the link with perfection but with extreme defects!

- I would mostly use the word trash instead of perfection!

- Where are “Daddy’s kids”?

- When it was time to get into the promised land, only two “Daddy’s kids” got into it, Joshua and Caleb!

- For the next destruction, it is not going to be better!

I said:

- The problem is that “Daddy” is going to destroy human society twice within a period of 1,000 years!

Someone answered:

He can not destroy humans whom He Loves. But the consequences of their actions will do that. Sure God created the consequences for actions. And when they are due He does not go against His own Creations.

Jeremiah 2: 19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord God of hosts.

- My answer:

- We are definitely not reading the same Bible!

I said:

- I don’t see the link with perfection but with extreme defects!

Someone answered:

The link you see is lack of Revelation. Because God said we have to be Perfect. And He does not ask us something we can not do. No Father does that.

- My answer: About perfection, those who will enter into the next promised land will have 1,000 years and the devil will be freed a short time then it will be possible to live in perfection!

I said:

- Where are “Daddy’s kids”?

Someone answered:

All born of Him and Living in the Holy Spirit with Him and who are saying "Abba Father/Daddy" by the Power of that Spirit speaking it in them.

- My answer: According to the book of Revelation, Jesus will reign as king for 1,000 years, some will reign with him, others will be his subjects!

I said:

When it was time to get into the promised land, only two “Daddy’s kids” got into it, Joshua and Caleb!

Someone answered:

Sure. The slaves were so accustomed to their "slave" being that they didn't see the Almighty clearly who took them out of Egypt and through the dessert. Where He provided every day food and water and shade and heat. Some of us are the same. But I am a Joshua and Caleb. I entered. And you?

- My answer: the majority shows the same attitude today!

- I am waiting for the next promised land!

I said:

- For the next destruction, it is not going to be better!

Someone answered:

Sure. Some are still living in sin while our "Abba Father/Daddy? died for sins and are now living in Righteousness. Perfect Righteousness. And His Holy Spirit. Where we Live in Perfect Forgiveness to our enemies and do the actions of Perfection which is "turning the other cheek, walking the second mile and giving the garment. All actions enabled by the Power of God's Holy Spirit in us which gives us the Same Perfect Live as He is Living.

- My answer: we must get ready!

- Watching the situation of the world, it is easy to understand that many don’t do anything and don’t care!

- my answer:

Well, Yah.weh is patient but there is a limit to his patience!

- Remember the flood!

- Remember Lot's wife!

- Remember what happened to the Hebrews so many times and finally two destructions of Jerusalem!

- Remember that mankind will be destroyed twice again!

- Remember the Hebrews died in the desert!

- Remember Moses prevented Yah.weh from destroying the Hebrews various times!

I said:

- Well, Yah.weh is patient but there is a limit to his patience!

Someone answered:

Nope. There is not. We Live in His Everlasting Grace which we know Perfectly now. In Loving our enemies always. In only walking the second mile with them.

- My answer: we definitely don’t read the same Bible!

- It has always been a shock for the Hebrews and mankind!

- But Yah.weh has always warned them!
