Is Jesus the Christ a human Person?

Do you attend a local church in South Africa @Johann? Do you watch the services of a church on television? Do you listen to church programs on radio?

If so, could you share with us some names of who those churches are?

Churches here in South Africa are lukewarm, painfully so-but have found Dr. Bob Utley from Texas, a Baptist minister in hermeneutics and learning daily from him. I receive e mails from the team


before that I was involved in a outreach ministry called The Ark in Durban-me and my wife, Non-denominational-same ministry as David Wilkerson.

I don't have a television so don't watch services ON television.
I don't have a radio brother-just me and this Computer and my Bible.

I understand. I worked in many areas in southeast Africa where there were no televisions, radios or computers. In some cases, there were not even any Bibles in the village.

Ufumu wa Mulungu -> the only phrase I knew in Chichewa before I went to Malawi. I had to work with a translator who was a native Malawian.

Absolutely correct-it is getting worse.
I couldn't download the source you gave in PDF format-I have to go through hoops and still battling.

You asked me recently if I had read Two Powers In Heaven by Segal. Remembering that now gave me an idea for you: Internet Archive. They have an enormous number of books which can be read online at no cost.

Here, for example, is a link to Two Powers In Heaven.

Unfortunately, they don’t have Dr. Brown’s book. You can search their site for many authors and titles that will be of great interest and value to you.

I was pretty certain that you did. The reason I mentioned it, and provided a link to it, was solely for the purpose of bringing to your attention archive.org.

It’s a great resource. And it’s free to anyone who has access to the Internet.

There are more books available at the site than you would ever be able to read in the remainder of your lifetime.

@civic might want to consider adding this to the recommended resource lists (with or without caveats) he offers to members and readers of this forum. I think it would be a good service to all.

Since I know nothing re Orthodoxy some directives as to what I should be looking for would be of tremendous help.
Here is my dilemma brother-a brother from overseas helped me obtaining two paid modules on my e sword, but never heard from him again-also, as I have said on occasions, we are having regular power outs in South Africa-twice a day, lasting 2 hours and in some areas up to 10 hours.
But I have said enough.
You say one thing, and @civic another and I am "somewhere in the middle" a bit perplexed.

My advice: Don’t let anyone do your thinking for you. Read as much as you can about the subject and then decide for yourself.

Read widely. Read deeply. Read thoughtfully. Read critically.

They have that particular book available only on audio. You would have to listen to it rather than read it.
