Is Calvinism Gnosticism?

not apart from the Spirits revelation

Faith is man response to the Spirits revelation

Romans 10:10–17 (KJV 1900) — 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Not by an infusion or installation of faith

The bible clearly shows man is capable of faith

Still not addressed. Is conversion a supernatural work of God? Atempt at topic change duly noted. We're talking conversion not revelation. Category error

No one is talking about ability. Rabbit trail time

We also have John 3 and our Lord teaching flesh gives birth to flesh. Spirit gives birth to Spirit. Flesh does not give birth to Spirit. 3 8 and 9 to be exact.

This is a confusion for all hold it is the Spirit who regenerates. Man does not regenerate himself when he believes

Romans 8:28 "Flrsh is as man is, in his alienation from God"

I would also add Galatians 5:17 the flesh is anything that is opposed to the Spirit
????? This is Romans 8:28

Romans 8:28 (KJV 1900) — 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Ref gal 5:17 flesh here refers to carnal desires

Did Christ not possess the same flesh that we do

Hebrews 2:14–17 (KJV 1900) — 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
