So Christ actually died for those who were already lost at the time of His death? He is their saviour? So they could be saved at some point in the future? PLEASE actually address my questions.
You question assumes your understanding of the word all which you have not established yet and refuse to.
Just my 2 cents and a slightly different angle to help you get to where you should be by now.
Jesus died for all men. TRUE.
But Jesus' death was for a ransom, if I can describe it that way, because Scripture repeatedly uses the concept of “ransom” to describe how Jesus’ sacrificial death pays the debt humanity owes because of sin.
But if one does not have the FAITH... BELIEF in who Jesus is and what He has done therein lies the problem because they then shall not be one of Jesus sheep.
Remember when Jesus said he was sent for only the lost sheep of Israel.. Guess what. Not all of the lost followed Him, even at that point.
This is truly simplicity at its finest because Jesus was sent to be our.... yours,
@GodsGrace and even my savior . The HMMM... can I call them invitations went out, and it was up to each to accept or reject.
Jesus said in John 6 :37 " All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away"
That does not mean that whoever God predestined from before time but it means that we with the faith God will give to the Son
and the ransom will be considered paid on the cross.
There are those, even to this day that want no part of that. You could drag them to face Jesus on the cross and they will turn their backs.... One did that we know of.... The one thief. Yet the other embraced Him.
Just awe-inspiring beautiful simplicity in the Fathers plan. It does not take an Einstein, rocket scientist, or even an Elon Musk to understand.
The minds of children are clear ... why do ours get so muddled when we grow up.... correction... we never grow up, we age?
