I meant that propitiation and redemption and atonement are the SAME in THIS = CHRIST DIED for our sins.
ALL 3 words are used synchronously in Scripture to APPLY to ONE ACT that Freed us from sin.
We can't be flippant about words. It's like saying that "murdered" and "passed away" can describe every death event.
Read and learn how Expiation is used in the Bible:
1 John 2:2 (RSV) "And He is the Expiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world."

We also have synonyms in Scripture Language such as: appease/satisfy , atone/redeem , pole/cross , redeem/deliver , set apart/sanctify ,
holy/undefiled , lie/falsehood , doctrine/teaching , scripture/scroll , redeemed/purchased , anger/wrath and more
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, - 1 John
He is the propitiation for our sins, - 1 John
He gave Himself for us to redeem us - Titus 2:4
Redeemed us from the curse
Purchased us by His Blood
Atone/Propitiate/Redeem = synchronous use of 3 different words that APPLY to the ONE ACT of His Death on the Cross

Propitiation, the appeasing of an irate Deity by offering Him a sacrifice which bears the weight of His wrath, is a pretty unique definition. It may be acceptable in Islam or paganism but it has no place in Christianity.

passed away is death/died/no longer with us
murdered is specific and cannot be anything other then murdered which is a specific illegal act that ends in the death(s) of a person(s)
How a person was murdered is another application of words derived from the evidence and also is specific to the 'murder'
