Don’t dishonor Christ in your conduct.

3. Here's what I posted
4. Everything you say and do—online and offline—represents Jesus. Shouldn’t that identity, then, affect what you post and the manner in which you engage? Ask yourself, what would Jesus think of your reply? Would he approve of the tone? Would he think you’re treating your interlocutor, who is a fellow image-bearer of God, with respect? If not, don’t post.

I can see where you have a hard time with the sentence above in bold. The last sentence is not a command it's a suggestion. Why is it you have to take everything to the hilt? Here's another suggestion lighten up.
not everyone , not every interlocutor, is a soul of Him...

Being His image will be when we are restored to eden paradise.

Right now we are in this fleshbody = satanic realm nature.

we are in the satanic APE BODY.

Sorry if that hurts
but its true.

This Flesh is not His and is at war with Him...

Only the wee poor soul oppressed in this IDOL flesh is of Him

There was absolutely no need to incarnate in this evil body
to procreate the animal flesh of the satanic realm...

That is a total fabrication and lie.

God never said it. Period.

Just telling the truth. Truth is an anchor. It never changes.
You're telling your truth. The truth can be harmful when it's not necessary. If you see someone with a severe facial disfigurement you don't walk up to him and say "Were you born that way or were you in a terrible accident"?

Or you can sound all spiritual... maybe it's their parents fault.

During Ezekiel's time, Israel made a grave mistake in their reasoning, concluding that God was judging the present generation harshly because of the wickedness of their forefathers. They wrongly believed that it made no difference what they did, blaming their parents for all their woes. These people reasoned that they were the unfortunate victims of the ancient law in Exodus 20:5: "I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me."

I would do that. I'm telling the Truth relative to who God is. Timing is important. That is why I don't look to offend people right from the start. I try to get to know them. I try to get to a point where I believe it time to deal with an issue.

Jesus said...

Mat 23:30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
Mat 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
Mat 23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Sound familiar?

We are the victims of those before us but God has made a way for us regardless of our parents. However, a person must become guilty before God. This is where Arminianism can be a very problematic doctrine.

There's potential on this thread-Rom 8 immediately comes to mind.
Johann
Ray Stedman your new mentor believes the following.

Its nice to know you confirm believers can become sinless on this earth. :)

" His critics were quick to point out that in Ray's ideological framework, so popular among evangelicals, a sinless life was at least a theoretical possibility. Although Ray did not teach perfectionism, at times his teaching did sound as if full deliverance from sin was available now by allowing the triumphant power of Christ to rule in the soul. His critics placed far more emphasis on the future hope of the gospel to bring complete sanctification upon the believer's death. "

Just be clear, I meant to say "wouldn't do that". I tend to reverse means at times when I get in a hurry typing.

Didn't seem like a "suggestion" to me. Thanks for clarifying.

Sometimes it's not easy trying to converse in these online formats. First of all a lot of us myself included may have a hard time putting our thoughts in the words. And then some of us can have a hard time understanding these thoughts.

Then you throw in a little frustration and anger and the new commandment that Jesus gave us a loved one another goes right out the window.

I understand and I largely agree. However, in these cases lately, I have sincerely been trying to help. No chasten in the present seems joyous. I care about all of you.

There is one exception to the "Truth" being #1 in our lives......

It is love. A person can be guilty and it is love that sets them free. A person can refuse to accept the truth and it is love that establishes the bound that they will remember when life brings them low. I hope you realize that as hard as I've been on various subjects, I care very deeply about all of you.

Believe it or not I was actually thinking the same thoughts earlier this morning. I guess that's one of the things that can be helpful in communications here is getting to know one another.

The Bible nowhere says that our bodies are satanic, much less Ape bodies.

Jesus was incarnated, not us. Our bodies are not evil, we do not have animal flesh from the satanic realm.

I've never understood your appeal to "ape body". Explain it to me one day.....
the point with that is that this body is Flesh...
and came about the way it is now because of the fall

flesh obeys the law of sin and death.

Go look in genesis as to God's warning about entering Death, and do a comparison....
that it will mean toil, sweat!, pain in childbirth, mortality, etc. These are all features of the current flesh
and not of the Creation that He declared Good.

this body, besides being sin and flesh
shares much of its genome with the apes.
it is an Animal body...

so man, instead of dominion over the animals
is now in an animal body
thanks to Adams crime....

and that is our sin situation...
that we are not in eden which He declared Good,
and we are not in our original body created by God..
and that we are born into that fallen situation, physically
not just mentally as in 'idea of sin.'

Subject Heading:- Don’t dishonor Christ in your conduct.

'But foolish and unlearned questions avoid,
knowing that they do gender strifes.
And the servant of the Lord must not strive;
but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves
;
if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil,
who are taken captive by him at his will.'

(2 Tim. 2:23-26)
