So you are disagreeing with what Paul wrote about what an unsaved person needs to do to become saved?

Did you read my post? I said we must follow Ezra, Paul and other men of God in the scriptures as they read the scriptures distinctly, and then gave to them their proper sense, so that others hearing them could understand the reading, without which they ae nothing but words being quoted, that no man understands without some one guiding them just as Philip did the eunuch in Acts 8, and just as Christ did to the two men on the road to Emmaus~Luke 24:32.

So, I'm not by any means disagreeing with Paul or the scriptures, but fully understand the sense of the scriptures you are attempting to use, that you do not understand their God given sense, but are using them contrary to the truth, and by doing so, you are teaching a salvation from sin and condemnation based upon man's works, not solely upon what Christ did to secure the salvation for his people.

Did you take time to listen to the video, which would go along way in helping you to see your error?

Saved in the sense of being born again? John 3:1-8. Would you like for me to do a verse by verse on this? I will for you if you desire it. The new birth is a birth solely by the Spirit of God apart from all means~preachers/soul winners (?) even the word of God, since man is dead in trepasses and sins, he must be given life before he can see, hear, believe and follow, etc. This birth takes place in the sub conscience part of man without him even knowing that God is working!

Paul was not giving instructions on how to get saved there, that is works, Paul taught Salvation by the Grace of God. Unsaved, unregenerate men are dead in sin Romans 3

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9


You will be saved is clear.


If you don’t believe a person must confess Jesus Christ as Lord and believe God raised Him from the dead to be saved, then please tell us how an unsaved person becomes saved.

That's how a regenerate person who lacks true biblical knowledge is saved in a practical sense.

Read the context of Romans 10:1-13 more distinctly, and seek for the true biblical senses. Let's look at John 3:1-8 together.

Well, just trying to help, I would listen and try the spirits just as God commanded us to do, (1st John 4:1) using the word of God as the final litmus test, but, what's a few minutes here and there to see who may or may not have the truth. All lovers of the truth, would do as much as needed to be done to make sure they have the truth.

I think the problem that @Red Baker has, though I could be wrong, is he does not understand how you or I or @civic and others can do so without

they believe (calvinists) that man is dead like a corpde therefor God must give them life ( regeneration ) which is the new birth before a person can believe and receive the gospel.

But that makes the gospel nonsensical since they place the new birth before faith in the gospel by hearing the gospel then believing the gospel which results in the new birth, born again, becoming a child of God.

The bottom line it is not the gospel at all, its something else. Another gospel.
