An Article on free will

Yes. That is why Jesus came, pouring His sinless blood on the Cross to cover over our sins, allowing us to be forgiven through our faith and repentance. Jesus came to justify us so that we will live eternally in His Kingdom. In Christ, we are found not guilty.
I love Ephesians and Colossians re our position IN/eis Christ Jesus, sealed with the Holy Spirit.

Johann.

Exactly. So put this in the proper perspective.

Guilt is necessary but it not the only thing necessary. The absence of guilt doesn't make mankind worthy of Immortality.

Your theology will change if you believe this.
Guilt has nothing to do with God’s saving grace. I’m not following you.

It does have something to do with it. It is the innocence associated with unbelief that establishes the longsuffering and patience of God toward us.

You believe that forgiveness of sin is what saves you. That is just part of it. Adam without sin wasn't worthy of Eternal Life.

No, our belief in Christ is what saves us.

I agree, it's kinda difficult to follow this train of thought.

What I've said is contrary to what most people believe but it doesn't stop me from believing it. There is this narrative that exists that is difficult to overcome because it feeds the ego of man.

The "pride of life" is an enemy to us. Maybe more so than most anything we face in our existence.

Pride is ever lurking in ALL of us, me included.

And never neglect to mention the sadly neglected Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit @Selah.

Johann.
The Holy Spirit is always there. :)

I was just referring to John 3:16:
John 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

I tend to provoke the pride in others. I prefer it that way. Pride will cause you to say what you really think and feel. Which is REAL. It is what is needed.

Everyone tends to "play a character" in this life. I told someone the other day that this is exactly what is wrong with the "transgendered" people of this world. They're playing a character that isn't based in realty....

However, this world is full of the same thing among most any people. Some people are playing "pastors". Some people are playing "leaders". Some people are playing the victim when they should be "kings". There are "characters" everywhere. Very seldom do we actually get to meet the real people we are. I try to live my life just like this. Even if it involves others thinking I'm sinful. Sincerity is everything. Even when you're wrong.

Adam was created upright, wasn't he? Of course he was worthy of eternal life.

That is what the narrative says...... That is the answer that needs to be dealt with.

Adam was innocent. Innocence isn't worthy of Eternal Life. Innocence is lacking understanding. Innocence is found in not knowing.....

It is one thing not to know/understand and be innocent of any actions directly sin and it is entirely another to know the capabilities and actions of sins and to be innocent in the work of God that grants man the right to Eternal Life.

Adam never had Eternal Life until he was "born from above". Neither did Eve.

Another powerful statement and sincerity a rare quality.
