Your Views on The Trinity

Yeppers.... 99% correct. The Godhead did it all. The one Godhead...... I absolutely agree.

AI says... The term "Godhead" is typically used as a singular noun to refer to the divine essence or nature of God, particularly in Christian theology.

but AI furthers things with However, it can imply a plurality in the context of the Trinity, which includes the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

But the most important question I ask you is why you do not believe scripture from the new testament?

NLT
In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He existed in the beginning with God.

God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.
The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.

Now, IF YOU CAALL JOHN A LIAR in the new testament...
which you do by the fact that you deny the Word was at creation,
WHO ELSE are you calling a liar in the new testament?
Your illusion stems from the fact that the Word was not called capitol G God at John 1:1 in Greek. Any can look it up for self. 2 spots in NT where more than 1 is being called God or god in Greek=John 1:1-2Cor 4:4. Thus when one sees the Greek they find-The true living God=God is called a different Greek word than either the Word or satan is called--Yet trinity translation has god for satan and God for the Word translating the same exact word, thus one of those is error= The Word getting capitol G God. The Word would have been called the same word the true God is called if it translated-God for him.
In 1822 Abner Kneeland a Greek scholar, compared Greek and English side by side in his NT translation to prove to the world a god is correct to the Word at John 1:1-- 19 other translations by Greek scholars in history has a god to the Word as well-3 had was divine, 1 had was godlike.

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
Colossians 1:16

The Son created all things according to the will of the Father.

The Son created the heavens and the earth.

The Son is God; YHWH

But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
And: “You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
Hebrews 1:8-10
Its 100% undeniable fact-Through= another did the creating= HE, not we or us.

All things except for Gods master worker=Jesus= created direct-first and last=Only begotten son.
It does not say all things except Gods master worker. It says thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers. Those are the things Jesus will need to govern in his new up coming kingdom. Those are the all things he will need.

Oh stop it.

The Greek interlinear has it capital G ... Here is the link so you can read because you will accuse me of
changing it. and it does not copy and paste well.

The only small g I have ever seen has been the NWT. JW bible.

Aramaic was common for that day also....

Lamsa Bible
THE Word was in the beginning, and that very Word was with God, and God was that Word.

Aramaic Bible in Plain English
In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.

I use the Aramaic Bible in Plain English a lot, but do keep in mind the guy's a big time Trinity person. Here's how I see John 1

The word "logos" (Word) denotes (I) "the expression of thought" as embodying a conception or idea. λόγος "logos" is something said (including the thought). So the word "logos" means an expression of thought. It makes perfect sense if we use this understanding everywhere the word "logos" is used. So in John 1:1 the Word is not Jesus, but rather it became flesh, which is God's expression of thought or plan that became flesh with the coming of Jesus Christ.

Peterlag does not read my posts. If John 1:1 were the only verse, peterlag would almost have a point. Some reason, he cannot get beyond verse 1 to see that the logos was with God and the Logos is God. In the hyperliteralism of unitarians, such verses have to be disregarded because a word cannot be with God nor can a word be God.
One thing we can recognize here is the failure to use the principle that words (like logos) do not particularly carry the baggage of its meaning in one passage into another passage. The balancing statement is sometimes a word has the same baggage from its use in another passage. The hyperliteralists cannot deal with this concept sufficiently and thus we see an extreme liability in their ability to analyze scriptures.
The logical meaning here is that the Logos here reflects who Jesus is -- of him being with God and being God. This indicates that Jesus is the message of God to humanity. Those who do not recognize this then fail to recognize the Messiah from God. Jesus as the Logos is why those who have seen him have seen the Father. This is why Jesus is called exact image of the Father, the expression of God to the world.

Too many people on here actually follow the NWT bible and I have lost track of who they are because it seems that they do not want it known. Not that they all are JWs but certainly a lot use the NWT to firm up their beliefs that ... for example... the Logos/Word is not and cannot be God.

From NWT John 1:1   In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. This one was in the beginning with God.

From NWT John1:14 So the Word became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father; and he was full of divine favor and truth.

To those outside the Christian faith, the doctrine of the Trinity seems a very strange teaching indeed.
To those "outside the Christian Faith" nothing about Christianity makes any sense at all - the Bible makes this clear that to those who PERISH (because of their rejection of God's salvation 1 Cor 2:14), it's all foolishness!!
It seems to violate logic, for it claims that God is three and yet that he is one. How can this be?
And since you (we) know essentially NOTHING of the absolute nature, and makeup of God, the question is meaningless.

Personally, I know BY FAITH that God is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Heb 11:6)

Some people do use the New World Translation but not generally with Peterlag and Runningman. But there appears to be some JW influence since they call everything "Catholic" that they reject. Runningman said he was in a church group that recognize the Triune nature of God but could not explain it; so he apparently chose to learn about it from the arguments of the heretical sources. The rejections sometimes involve saying that Jesus cannot be a separate god. Other rejection is that Jesus is human-- which is not in dispute by Trinitarians.

The additional problem is these folk often have more aberrant doctrines. With Peterlag, we see some spiritist doctrine. And some unitarians deny the virgin birth. The tentacles of denial of the divinity of Christ become apparent.

People often say I'm wrong when I post the following because they say I looked it up in an Interlinear or Concordance and it shows the word is a "him" and not an "it." Those reference books show how the Bible translates words and not what the Greek actually means. The pronoun is an "it" when it refers to an inanimate noun like "word" because Greek has grammatical "gender" and the "Word" in John 1 is a thing so the Greek says it's an "it."

John 1:3 “Everything came to be through it.” The logos is an “it” not a “him.”

Translators have deliberately chosen to use “him” because they wanted to emphasize that the Word was the male person we know as Jesus. This was a theological choice, not a linguistic one.

"Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you” (Proverbs 4:6).

Is the Wisdom in Proverbs 4:6 a distinct divine person?

The "Word" is not literally a person for the same reason that "Wisdom" is not literally a person. Both are to be taken metaphorically.

Jesus is the personification of the Word because He speaks the words of God. To listen to Jesus equals listening to the Word of God.

Making Sense of the Trinity
You surly have read each and every post explaining this .

Are you a Christian or other?

Do you comprehend the Godhead? I wont explain it ever again. But you need to do a search on that term because I know you have read about it here...but do not understand so if you Google it... it might help you.

Has it not occurred to anyone... (I apologize in advance for being testy but some long ago personal things came up to bite me)
but that just maybe the Heavenly Father and Christ Jesus has determined we have no need to know???????????????

And it is these very same people who cannot understand the one flesh in Gen 2: 21-24 and Matt 19:5 and Ephesians 5:31 and Mark 10:7-8, They are still always 2 but God sees them as one.

There has only been one other person I have ran into on the various forums who just kept repeating that version of 1 Timothy 3:16

There is nothing contrary to 1 Timothy 3:16.

You have never posted anything contrary to it because there is no scripture contrary to it.

All you have done is deny all the other scriptures that plainly show us that Jesus Christ is LORD; YHWH

But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
And: “You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

I know how to buckle down and copy and paste the same things for the next few years, too, and I guarantee you'll get tired before I do. Do you really want to do that though? It isn't good for the forum and it's useless. So if you want to just keep posting the same thing after your commentary on what it means has been debunked then go for it.

Is that not scary? You are accurate in your assessment.

I have given many many scriptures that plainly and clearly show us Jesus is LORD; YHWH

ALL you have done is deny them while at the same time failing to show ANY scriptures that teach otherwise.

You have CLOSED your eyes to the truth.

We all recognize this about you.
