How is He doing with you? Are you faultless?
Jud 1:24 Now to the one who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, without blemish before his glorious presence,

Apparently He doesn't. He would be pleased to save all but just cannot get it done.
Off on a rabbit trail we go. Good talkGod enjoys many things. What you're proposing isn't actually a relationship. It is meaningless puppetry. Stockholm Syndrome.
It is farce to believe that God would take pleasure in what you present.
Their god does have good intentions. After all, the road to hell ain't gonna pave itself.
Where do you see faultless in the text?
Off on a rabbit trail we go. Good talk
I think I could fill up a room of 1000 people and ask them the following,Again, you assume His attempt to save everyone. Which, by the way, makes Him a colossal failure.
I could just as easily have said the same thing to you. Who appointed you Pope over us? What spirit is possessing you both to resort to such mockery and vomit? We're not mocking THE God. We're mocking YOUR god.
No offence but why do you struggle so with the English language? Why can't you grasp a simple concept that purposes of a certain type nobody can go against but purposes of a different type they potentially could?LOL, do you agree with the premise that NOTHING can thwart the purposes of God but some things do?
Luke 7:30 (ESV) — 30 but the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the purpose of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.)No offence but why do you struggle so with the English language? Why can't you grasp a simple concept that purposes of a certain type nobody can go against but purposes of a different type they potentially could?
So you reject there can be purposes of different types? Why do you do that to lead yourself and maybe others into unnecessary confusion? To he that has an ear....
e.g. One may tell their teenage kid you have a curfew tonight of 10 o'clock. If you go past that....you're grounded for a week. The discipline for breaking that will and desire of the parent WILL NOT be changed! Now number 2,
2) It may be the will and purpose of a parent for their kid to graduate and go to medical school to become a doctor. Their offspring it turns out doesn't want that type of career. The parent doesn't force them to go down that road....SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT!
Nothing can thwart the purpose and will when it comes to somethings. To other things the person can. Of course if you're going to keep playing around with your one sentence of words implying it's an unreconcilable problem it can't be the way I've just said you might win over the uninsightful that don't understand how the statement should be considered. There's no contradiction in what I've said above and neither is there with God. Fact : the will of God is not always done. All things are not ordained.
Huh? What's your point? So, is one purpose God's secret will, and another purpose his declarative will?![]()
DittoJesus did universally atone but it is applied only to those who believe. Read Rom 10:8-13.
That's what you say. Don't include me in. 1 Sam 3:14 disproves that.
No contradictions for me.
No such nonsense Gods will is known nothing secret about it, He says what He does and does what He says. 66 books containing His revealed will which included the future and eternity. No mystery is secrets about it now with the new covenant. So, is one purpose God's secret will, and another purpose his declarative will?![]()
Strawman alertApparently He doesn't. He would be pleased to save all but just cannot get it done.
The Calvinists god has the worst intentions condemning most of humanity to hell by determinism when he could have saved them . Quite the dictator who has much in common with the heathen gods , the god of Islam and the gnosticsTheir god does have good intentions. After all, the road to hell ain't gonna pave itself.
That would be like saying when Jesus said I wish you were either hot or cold and seeing you're lukewarm I'll spew you out of my mouth that you come along and say I wonder if Jesus REALLY DOES want us lukewarm. You might say it might be his secret will you know! So see the depth you have fallen with Calvinism and recognize your need to come out of it.So, is one purpose God's secret will, and another purpose his declarative will?![]()

Now you're just trying to muddy the waters. I said God can have a certain type of purpose in a particular subject or theme and a different type of purpose in a different type of theme. My analogy that I put down (and you can see it below too) bears this out. In each subject there's NO conflict of anything! Why should you say there is?So, God cannot have two conflicting wills, but he can have two conflicting purposes. Got it.
