The whole context of Revelation pretty well confirms it. I understand why people will be hesitant to speculate based on various theories about Revelation though.
Which is it? 616 or 666?

Would you like a better understanding of Revelation?
I posted a collection of references which develop the premise that it's based entirely on the old testament.

Then.... read the old testament, repeatedly, so you can more fully understand the hope we have in Christ.
Thanks. Those cross references could be handy in some of the projects I have in work. I hope to have people working together. One project is showing how various events and signs are related across various passages. The goal is to show the sequence of events determined by passages working in parallel. Then if some event is shown to be completed, the events before it then also are completed.Would you like a better understanding of Revelation?
