What's Wrong with Calvinism?

News flash. I was referring to my proof texts. Not yours that you inserted words into.
Have you finally realized Pentecost refers to the giving of the Spirit

And Thomas called Jesus Lord before the indwelling of the Spirit in Acts chapter 2

So your claim of being post-Pentecost there was an error.

Here is another

Luke 6:46 (LEB) — 46 “And why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I tell you?

and another

John 13:13–14 (LEB) — 13 You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you speak correctly, for I am. 14 If then I—your Lord and Teacher—wash your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

PS you failed to show any words were inserted into scripture.

In the context of Ephesians 2:8 it means "the means or instrument." You are saved by grave THROUGH faith. "It is not of yourselves". It is a gift of God. My understanding is the correct one.

And without the Spirit you cannot understand the things of God correct?
I never said otherwise.

I do have the spirit, and I do understand.

So many times the spirit has replied on the forums for me. Perhaps even to you... I will not go back and
reread all my replies to you.... But He is not silent and He phrases and says thing in such an unmistakable way
I know it is His work replacing mine.

You just ignored multiple verses

That is an assumption

Faith comes from the word

Romans 10:17 (LEB) — 17 Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the word about Christ.

John 20:31 (LEB) — 31 but these things are recorded in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Acts 11:14 (LEB) — 14 who will speak words to you by which you will be saved, you and all your household.’

Rom 1:16For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

1 Cor 1:17–18For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to proclaim the gospel, not with clever speech, lest the cross of Christ be emptied. For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

2 Timothy 3:15 (LEB) — 15 and that from childhood you have known the holy writings that are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

Scripture is inspired by the Spirit but that does not mean you must be regenerated/made alive/indwelled before you can understanding comes by the Spirit.

Understanding comes from the Spirit. Only the Spirit understands tge things of God and those He chooses to reveal them to. Nothin you posted above changes that fact.

How did you come to understand? By the Spirit correct? Prior to conversion?
