unless the falling away comes first

Wouldn't it be consistent that under persecution, many will fall away from the faith?

Seems like kind of a Biblical theme.

You get an answer that finally works.

But?

You work hard to make it not work....

Sorry.. I have better things to do when that happens...

Definitely not my intention here.

But you stay blessed, friend.
I was waiting for years to make sense of that passage.

Apostacy can not work. For if you knew Church history better? You would know that when the Catholic church held power in the dark ages that apostacy could not get much worse. It took the Reformation to get us to the semi sane level we find ourselves in today.

When I was shown how the word is used in other places in Scripture it only makes sense.
Its a legitimate translation "departure." So, why fight it?

Possibly the Rapture was not understood very well when translators opted for other words, because they could not make the connection.

while the Holy spirit that abides in us will be gone. it will take pure self will .

That includes the concept of grace.

The Bible does not say God will remove grace from us.

You will not find that anywhere!

The Lord will remove the Holy Spirit from the earth. The Holy Spirit now indwells the church. When the Rapture happens?
The Holy Spirit who restrains all the evil we are witnessing to today, will cut it loose when the Holy Spirit in the church is gone.
That is when the Antichrist will make his appearance.

For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back (Holy Spirit)
will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way." 2 Thessalonians 2:7

So back off with the lies.
Calm down brother.....

Righteous indignation is Scriptural brother.

Saying calm down is not standing for what's right, it's being condescending and dismissive of an injustice.

You can produce better and real answers when you are calm.

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God."
Psalm 46:10a

It usually goes unnoticed.
But, being still when it is applicable is doing a good work.

Dong nothing in that case?
In God'[s eyes? Is trusting Him and doing something.

More often than not, its not righteous indignation.
Its more likely frustration we experience at a time God is showing us we have more to learn and to yet understand.

There is much more in riches to know and understand than many realize. Few find it..

You are not a moderator so don't moderate. If you have a problem with another poster then report them. Those are the rules here and on every single christian internet forum in existence. That is why we have moderators.

hope this helps !!!
