Transmitting The Fallen Nature

a man out of Boston U did his masters on the terms hebrew npsh and Greek psuche. both used for soul. that is a huge error. he cited every single usage. they are not synonyms.

the latter is the flesh mind, yet it was associated with the soul God made which is incorrect.

npsh is the soul and body, for in hebrew there is no disembodied soul...

what we have now after the fall is a chimera of a soul made by God combined with this foreign flesh.

In eden man did not have this type of flesh.

the garden was not on this earth. It is in the other reality and we got separated from it after being separated from God.

We will be restored to eden and God, meaning to walk with Him again in eden paradise.
That seems contrary to what scripture states

Genesis 2:4–8 (NASB 2020) — 4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven. 5 Now no shrub of the field was yet on the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the LORD God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground. 6 But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground. 7 Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living person. 8 The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.

Are we in eden now? No.

But we are on this earth and have access to this earth no? Yes.

Eden is not on the current earth.

That is the easy version of an answer, just as logical inference. The long answer you would need to spend lots of time on.

And, this earth does not have the characteristics assigned to Eden.

Everything Dies. There is sweat. There is labor. This current reality is DEATH. Just as God warned.

We are not anymore in paradise where God walks among His sons and daughters.

We are in a place called DEATH.

Literally, cosmologically.

I'm sorry I missed this - I thought I was the only one who believed such things on this forum...!! I'd like to compare your history with this idea and mine if you cared to share your church/theological awareness with me, I'd love it!

I'm inclined to accept that though Adam and Eve were real people pre-earth when they fell into sin, that the story of the Satanic fall and the fall of the elect was replayed on earth in an earthly Eden, a type for the antitypical heavenly Eden. I know some see the earthly Garden of Eden story as only a metaphor or allegory without any real earthly Eden, an idea which is not theologically impossible but I'm not comfortable with it yet.

Here is my website. There is no church group. I made Facebook pages and this site and I post to it every day. Me and another scholar from Holland work on this... translating and restoring His words. I dont know if it is okay to post the site here, but i will and if the mods remove it I will send it to you in a message instead. I know on another forum it was not allowed. https://het-report.nl

Hence the site title is in dutch though most all the site is English, title means 'the Report'.

The home page is in dutch, the rest in English. The page you may like is on the right side, in the start section, describing Eden paradise. I hope there are some things you like here that we could talk about...

I wanted to heart your post but the laughing icon with heart eyes scares me. : )

I think you are right that we play out the events of the other world, here. My take on that is that we are undoing the events, and in some cases foreshadowing events, such as meeting Christ on the clouds.

For example of a playing out - esau. Who in the other reality was of that realm that made eden to fall, and stole our birthright from the sons..but that in this reality, Jacob took back what was stolen. This is often interpreted as Jacob stole, simply because the context before this earth has been hidden and or not taken into account.

I view eden as our real home and a real land and place and that this earth was a corruption that came about after the fall, when we left paradise. I do understand what you mean though... eden seems to be very far away...and so different from the dystopia we live in now.

Ted, can you share your awareness about this. We can exchange ideas sounds great.

It was when created

That seems contrary to what scripture states

except that did not happen on THIS earth. Since we got separated from God and are not in HIS eden.

he fell. therefore no longer in the same nature and mind of God.
by Nature we can understand it in a basic way, such as nature - growing things, earth etc. We were in His Nature and Mind and after the fall, that ended when we left His eden paradise...

I mean that literally, as in the cosmology, creation itself, was affected by the fall.

Again

it does not appear that way
