● Rev 20:7-9 . .When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his
prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth-- Gog
and Magog --to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the
seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp
of God's people, the city He loves.
I have been puzzled for many years wondering how the Devil will manage to
persuade the people of Gog and Magog to stage the rebellion depicted above. I
mean; by then Messiah's administration has given them a world of peace,
health, and prosperity the like of which no one has ever seen before. The Devil
must have quite a scheme cooked up if he's to succeed in persuading the people
of Gog and Magog to become discontent enough to bite the hand that feeds them.
But the thing to note is that the people of Gog and Magog would likely never
consider attacking Jerusalem were not the Devil to put them up to it, just as Eve
would likely have never considered tasting the forbidden fruit had not the Serpent
been in on the act. So then the millennium is where we finally get to see what
this world of ours would've been like had not the Serpent been allowed to tamper
with it.
