The Water Baptism of 1 Corinthians 12:13

The Holy Spirit is received IN CONJUNCTION of their water baptism.
It's not like they had to sit around and wait for Him to come.
Like this?....

12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

Me too.

It's great when those who are already Christians (they received the Holy Spirit which proves this -see Acts 10:47) continue in their obedience.
Nope, you refuse to be baptized in the name of the Lord.

Thou art a Catholic.

I was referring to Acts 2:38.

Acts 8 refutes your false teaching because even when they were water baptized (they obeyed Acts 2:38, right!) they still did not receive the Spirit.

Thanks for making this easy for me.

Speak for yourself.
RC's affirm that you must be water baptized to be saved - you say the same thing.

Embrace your brothers.
No, they removed the name of Jesus from baptism.

You removed baptism completely as an extension of her conspiracy.

In Acts 8, why were the only baptized and got the Holy Ghost much later?

Could it have anything to do with this?...

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Nope because they were already baptized in the name of the Lord. This is what Philip PREACHED.

But kept the water part, just like you.
Remember, YOU were the first one to bring up the RC's, not me.

So enjoy your mess that you created. It's fun to watch.
The name of Jesus spoken while in the water completes the burial with Christ.

Nope.
Gentiles in Acts 10 already received the Spirit before their water baptism.
But they had no remission of sins until baptism.

The Holy Ghost is not the remitter of sins.

You made that whopper up.

False.
It was a Spirit revival.

Too bad you ignore the Holy Spirit. This is an indication of what Romans 8:9 teaches.
Acts 8 was not a baptismal revival?
