The promise is not to the descendants, but to the fathers.

Right now, this is all we get to be included in per the future promise to the fathers....

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

This is why so many we pray for don't get healed etc.

We are now limited by a partial experience and cannot see yet via the dark glass over our eyes.

31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

This Scripture that you posted from Jeremiah has been fulfilled and is continuing.

Have you ever read completely the Gospel of John and Acts?

Wrong, this is all of the promise to future Israel/Judah that the church has been included into(Heb 10:16-17)...

Hebrews 10:15-17

15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

That's it.

Anything other than this is not ours to claim.

Believing Jer 31/Hebrews 8 is for us is replacement theology.

Did you see this passage, David?

Christendom is blind to it.

15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,...

Also...too us.

What does this(highlighted in red) mean or what is it trying to tell us???

Anyone welcome to answer, please?

Could it be that this was only about future national Israel?....

Hebrews 8...
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

And we are included in this part 2 chapters later?...

Hebrews 10....
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

The problem with Christendom is they think that they have replaced Israel per the promise(at least for now).

They think they are "Judah and Israel".

They think they are the "spiritual replacement" for the future 12 tribes.

Any learned Christian has been taught that Heb 8/Jer 31 is about them in it's entirety, but the writer of Hebrews says only a teency portion is our inclusion per chapter 10:15-17.

Question: how did Christendom miss this???

If you think about this a minute, why does Christendom separate the "ministry" from the "laity"?

It is because the "ministry" teaches us that they are the spiritual replacement for the tribe of Levi, thus the tithe doctrine is born.

Yep, Christendom is filled with replacement theology.
