We are not ever in any way saying that the Son gives up possession of attributes.

We are saying the Son gives up the use of the attributes.

This is often described as "veiling" the attributes, or similar.

This is not figurative, for we are healed or 'made whole', by God, through faith in His only Begotten Son, for He became an offering for our sin.

That is Biblical to use the word "lying" when dealing with others who will not be straight with you...

Colossians 3:8-10

They were Christians that that was addressed to.... And, the wrongful use of free loading heresies onto others could amount
to malice and slander.

The Bible is timeless.... For Christians still have a sin nature that they must learn to master over it, not deny it exists.

I have read through the link now.

I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died, and His body was placed in the grave (i.e., Hades, Sheol, the place of the dead). I do not believe that there is consciousness in death, so the Lord was as one that sleeps until He was quickened into life again by the Spirit, and rose from the dead. By the Spirit He then visited 'Tartarus', to herald to the spirits (or angelic beings) who are confined there, since before the flood for future judgment, news possibly of His victory over death and the grave (1 Pet. 3:18-20 & Jude 1:6), we are not told.

You may believe whatever you want but there are several instances of the souls of dead people showing consciousness and communicating in the Book of Revelation. If they can be conscious before their resurrection then for sure Christ, who is the Resurrection, can also be.

Jesus also taught it with the rich man and lazarus. The rich man pleaded to let his brother know about the place of torment he was in and experiencing.
