The Gospel Of Salvation

There is no offer in Jn 3:16-17. And plenty of others looking on knows Im tellling the Truth. And Sheep will be mentioned in Jn 10, the same book. It doesnt have to be mentioned all the time, its understood.
Hello again…

John 10:11 "I am the good Shepherd: the good Shepherd giveth His life for the sheep."

Brightfame, you need to understand; you need to ‘see’ that whoever seeks after Jesus Christ is one of His sheep. When Jesus went to the cross, died, and rose again, He did so for anybody with eyes to see and ears to hear the voice of the good Shepherd.

He died exclusively for His Sheep and saved them by His Death for them. Do you teach that His Death for His Sheep actually saved them from sin and gave them eternal life ?

…but I also believe that those who were chosen before the foundation of the world are the sheep who follow their Shepherd.

Romans 8:29-30 (KJV) 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

WE are reading from John 3 not John 10

There is no mention of sheep in the verses quoted

And world does not mean sheep

If you think otherwise, provide some proof and do not just quote your theology.

Hey Tom. Who would you say are the sheep in John 10?

John 10:11 (KJV) I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

…and here @TomL

John 10:25-29 (KJV) 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand.

Doesnt matter what chapter, Jn 3,5,9,11,etc or any other chapter in John, when talking about salvation matters, its about the Sheep.

It matters you are dodging and not dealing with the passage

This is a constant with you, and it shows your theology is busted

His sheep are those who fulfill what Jesus says of them

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me

In that poster's theology sheep often refers to those who do not hear and do not follow.

Yet another defect seen in his theology.

Yes.

…and “the sheepare also called “the saints” or “the elect.” It is written:

Romans 8:26-34 (KJV) 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? [It is] God that justifieth. 34 Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Sheep is not mentioned in Romans 8

Nothing about an offer or condition, you adding to the word of truth
You do realize that if from Genesis 1 thru Revelation if every single statement was made had to have additional words added by the authors such as this is the offer , or swap it to read I am making you the offer yada yada... that it is doubtful the first scribing of the Holy Scriptures would have been done before Jimmy had his the 54 invitations issued to join the team of King James Bible translators, but only 47 of the men appointed for this work are known to have engaged in it.... started to Work on it......

There are things that are said, and were said that would have been indigenous to the time and the location or the work being done. They would have had there specific ways to talk . I am not even suggesting the differences between Hebrew and koine Greek or Aramaic ( common for the day)
but just everyday conversations likely would have had an expected common theme of understanding to them

Example: You say:

Nothing about an offer or condition, you adding to the word of truth
Bible verse.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

So is it your contention that when God gave His only Son it was a gift. TO WHOM? OR are you saying it was everlasting life that was God's gift?
Repeat... to whom.

Oh.. I forgot.... you say the sheep. BUT SHEEP IS NOT WRITTEN IN THAT VERSE THEREFORE YOU ARE ADDING TO THE WORD OF TRUTH.... OH GUILTY ONE.
WHICH, THE VERSE ACTUALLY SAYS WHOSOEVER BELIEVES... AND THAT CAN INCLUDE NON SHEEP AS WELL.

BTW See me? I am following my Savior. following-Jesus.gif
