Precious friends, for your prayerful and careful consideration:

"The Gospel of Salvation is revealed in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. This is the the passage that clearly defines The Gospel
by which people can be Saved today. The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ are verifiable, uncompromised,
rock-solid facts that occurred in history.

At the core of The Gospel are real, historical events. The Gospel isn’t a matter of religious opinions, platitudes, or
mythical tales. It is about real events which changed the history of the world and man’s relationship with God..."

And Resurrection

One Gospel Truth that must be believed,

That Jesus Christ was sent by God the Father to this earth to save His people from their sins as Per Matt 1:21-23

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Thats scripture !

Lk 1:77

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

101G have a question concerning your statement above. "Sent by God to save his people?". but was it not God who came? let's check the record Isaiah 35:4 "Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you."

so, according to the scriptures, God came.... READ ISAIAH 35:4 AGAIN. so, are you saying that Jesus is God? yes or no, if so, then you have two Gods.
looking to hear your response.

I dont understand your point. According to Matt 1:21 who did Jesus come to save ?

So it must be clarified, 1 Cor 15:3-4

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; Note: Our sins means the sins of His People ! Isa 53:8

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living:
for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16

In the Romans, we read that salvation is the end, or goal, of faith. The same is true of the gospel. In Paul’s estimation, the greatest gift that the gospel affords a man is the salvation of his soul. God sent His Son into the world that the world might be saved through Him. Throughout the ages, salvation has been the glorious theme of the church and it's teaching.

Saints of old viewed salvation as not just one of the many gospel benefits to be considered, but as the one great benefit that when received, it so consumed the believer’s life that he wanted nothing more. Salvation from self and sin, deliverance from judgment and wrath, reconciliation with God and the knowledge of Christ was enough!

For THE PREACHING OF THE CROSS is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved IT IS THE POWER OF GOD. Who Christ is and what Christ has done is revealed in the Gospel by who Jesus died for on the Cross. He is not the potential savior of every individual, He is THE Savior of all for whom He lived and died. He is the Savior that came to save His people from their sins by His atoning death, not a ‘wannabe’ savior who could only come and do his best to make salvation possible and then hope for the best. The name ‘JESUS’ says it all, for it describes Who He is and what He would do: "And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: FOR He SHALL SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS" (Matt. 1:21; see also Isaiah 53). Those who believe Christ came only to make salvation possible for all, not definite for anybody, need to change the name of their savior, for the name JESUS simply does not fit who their god is and what he has done.

If one rightly holds to what the Bible teaches, that Christ died for His people, the elect of God, then one holds to the truth that what Christ did was actually obtain redemption for them by His death (Heb. 9:12). Whoever Christ died for He has obtained eternal redemption. This was dependant on Him and not in any way conditioned on the sinner, for all those who would receive what had been done on their behalf were chosen by God before the foundation of the world and given to the Son. God justifies the ungodly and not the godly (Rom. 4:5)
