#2 - God offered Adam & Eve eternal life = Genesis

And the LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and He clothed them.

Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil. And now, lest he reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever...”

Therefore the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.
So He drove out the man and stationed cherubim on the east side of the Garden of Eden, along with a whirling sword of flame to guard the way to the tree of life.

What does the Holy Spirit sound like? Please explain. I've heard people say this my entire life and they all contradict one another. I image sometimes that God grows weary of all his children claiming He said something He didn't. The longsuffering of God.

As I've said many times before here, Adam proved he wasn't impeccable by sinning. Adam wasn't what you and others claim he was. Adam was weak. Adam was taken from dust. The very ashes of destruction. Marred in the hands of the potter. Weak. Incapable of helping himself.

Is the potter to blame or was the vessel (flesh) Adam was created from incapable/weak an unable to hold up to the refining process necessary for "pottery"?

I ask you to reconsider what you think you know. Just consider this one thing for me.....

If Adam was perfect and complete in having Eternal life, then why did Adam need Eve?

Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Do you notice the phrase "not good" in Genesis 2:18?

It is hearing in our spirits the Truth = Thy word is Truth

Notice how @Runningman and @Peterlag cannot hear the Holy Spirit because they have not submitted unto Christ.
Therefore they fight against the Truth because they rely on human intellect.

JESUS emphasized this by Saying: "Hearing they hear not, seeing they see not....."

There is this context that exists among many Christians that demands a hybrid view of the very nature of Jesus Christ. This is essential to "their" theology because it gives them the ability to simply assert various things that Jesus did/said as either "speaking as God" or "speaking as man".

This is "part" of the battle that exists between good and evil that seeks to define just "WHO" Jesus Christ is.

The battle for Eternal Life for mankind "hinges" on WHO Jesus Christ is.

As some people begin to know Jesus Christ, they don't like what they find/see in Him. Such can even abandon the faith.

In the seed of Mary, (women have a seed. Not just men) Christ was 100 percent in the likeness of Adam.

Have you every tried to "play back" a melody before? I enjoy music. I play a few instruments myself. I'm not as good as I once was due to some nerve issues in my arm but I do still "hear music" as well as I ever have.

Sometimes we think we really know a melody and we don't. At least not as well as we can. It is experience that builds such in our lives. Experience is essential to understanding.

Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Senses must be exercised. Senses must be "honed". This never ends in our life here.

Have you ever considered that is actually what God was doing when He created Adam and Eve? God was put them in a environment where it was essential for them to learn their surroundings.

God didn't Adam nor Eve with absolute knowledge. They had to learn through experience. God designed us this way for at least one reason. This thought has "flavored" my theology for a long time.

We only value what we learn through experience. We often ignore what we're told until we experience it first hand. Seeking is what opens the door. Living is what makes it real to us. Until we do, it is nothing more than someone else's.......

We must own such or we can't love it. It is nothing more than conjecture to us until it is experienced.
