The doctrine of election

no one is saved until they hear the gospel, believe the gospel, receive the gospel, confess Jesus is Lord- see Romans 10:9-14 for Paul's detailed explanation of the above mentioned popints.

hope this helps !!!
How is He the saviour of those who die lost? It saviour of the world. Who are what is the world?

No different than His position/Title as Lord, God, Alpha Omega, First Last ,King, Creator etc..... He is those regardless of whether you believe them or not. He is the Creator of the world, the King of the world, the Savior of the world. He becomes your personal God, Lord,King, Savior when you believe the gospel and repent of your sins, confess Him as Lord as per Romans 10:9-14.

It says He is the saviour of the whole world. In what way are those who die lost saved?
It says he is the Savior of all the world, it doesn’t say he saved all the world. Not all the world believes that he is the Savior. That he is the Savior of the world is a statement of fact; believing that fact is true means the Savior will save.

The "you" is who it is written. That is who it is referring to. Not to every last person who has ever lived.
Nope, “not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” is referring to the whole of humanity. He does not say “any one of you” or “everyone of you”, as if to imply anyone of a particular part of the whole. It is a comprehensive statement without particular inference.

He writes to those presumed to be believers about both believer and nonbelievers. It is not all about believers.

Doug

So then what a person does determines their salvation and not Christ, that makes the person their own saviour.
What a person believes about what Christ has done makes salvation complete.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 3:18

Not believing “be” the “cause” of being condemned already. (Pardon my poor grammar for the sake of the point.)

Saviour of the world as in every person whoever lived right? So how is He the saviour of those who die lost?

So who is the world that He is the saviour of? Every last person who has ever lived?

Its no way around it, you believe man by what he does determines Salvation, Thats man made false religion
No, I believe that God has established belief as the criteria for him to actually save. God determines belief to be necessarily done by man.

God says he will save all who believe. We don’t say to God “if I believe in you then you must save me”; but God says “whoever confesses me with their mouth and believes with their heart that I have raised Jesus Christ from the dead, will be saved.”

God sets the protocols.

Again tt boils down to this:

Its no way around it, you believe man by what he does determines Salvation, Thats man made false religion

Nope. The audience is the "you".

There is no "whoever" in the text. I knew you would bail on the text in question. It was just a matter of time.

So is Christ the saviour of the dead unsaved?

Accept all are not saved, hence He us not the saviour of the whole world. Common sense
accept not all have Jesus as their Lord, their King just like Savior.

even AI knows this it true lol

Lord, Savior, and King are pivotal, biblically-rooted titles for God, particularly emphasizing Jesus Christ's divinity, authority, and redemptive role. "Lord" denotes supreme authority (

, Kyrios), "Savior" highlights His role in rescuing humanity (Redeemer), and "King" signifies His sovereign rule over creation (

Key Aspects of These Titles:
  • Lord (Adonai/Kyrios): Represents God's absolute power, authority, and ownership over creation. It is often used to describe the relationship between God and believers, highlighting Him as Master.
  • Savior (Redeemer/Deliverer): Emphasizes God as the rescuer who saves humanity from sin and death. Jesus is identified as the "Savior" who brings salvation.
  • King (Sovereign/Ruler): Highlights God's supreme reign and, in the context of Jesus, fulfills messianic promises as the Ruler of Israel and the ultimate King of Kings
