You still dont get it the Jn 12:40 could not believe vs 39 and all men are born spiritually blind, thats depravity, and if you not elect, when the Gospel comes God is sending it to make their condemnation worse. God stiffens their hearts against the Gospel.
When the Gospel comes to the non elect, its not so they might believe, but so they can make their condemnation worse.
See the more you hear, the greater your condemnation for unbelief Lk 1246-48
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
All unbelievers are condemned, but some more than others

I know it doesnt make sense to you. Now when God sent Moses to Pharoah and he was to tell him He wants the king to let His People go, was it Gods will for pharaoh to obey or disobey His command ? Think aout it b4 you answer.

he cannot since it would expose his own beliefs to be wrong hence avoiding it at all costs.
You have a problem then because scripture shows he did
John 12:39–40 (KJV 1900) — 39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
