Men dont believe because Christ didnt die for them and take away their sins, their unbelief Jn 10:26

26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

You can only believe in Jesus if He died for you and took away your sin of unbelief Jn 8:24

24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

The condition to believe in Jesus is to have been one of His Lost Sheep.

John 10:26 doesn't say He didn't die for them.

They were not His sheep because He could see into all men and knew it, not that they were unconditionally nonelect.

John 2:23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

John 2:24. *But Jesus did not commit himself unto them,

Jesus died for the nonelect:

Not all. Otherwise you have universalism. The atonement doesn't provide faith.

The following scriptures support that Christ died for the nonelect too.

Romans 3:24–25 (LEB) — 24 being justified as a gift by his grace, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God made publicly available as the mercy seat through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness, because of the passing over of previously committed sins,

Thats for the redeemed. One has to be redeemed from unbelief, delivered from darkness before they believe. The word redemption in that passage apolutrósis:

release effected by payment of ransom; redemption, deliverance.
629 /apolýtrōsis ("redemption, re-purchase") emphasizes the distance ("safety-margin") that results between the rescued person, and what previously enslaved them. For the believer, the prefix (575 /apó) looks back to God's effective work of grace, purchasing them from the debt of sin and bringing them to their new status (being in Christ).
