Before I answer your question first let's get straight what we're talking about. Are we talking about the best-known word in the Southern vernacular that is probably The most used pronoun In this case: y'all. A contraction of "you" and "all" is what forms "y'all" when addressing or referencing two or more people.
You're addressing a "Southerner" here.....

I was poking a little fun with the "ALL" emphasis. The "y'all" reference are ALL of those who similarly claim they were predestined in accordance with your original post I referenced.
Or are we talking about universalism?
Nope. However, I have argued for a very long time that the ultimate progression of Calvinism establishes Universalism. There have been many Calvinists over the years that graduated to Universalism. I mean seriously, no one can possible defend "Limited Atonement".
Let's go with what the bible says.
Certainly. Can we agree among ourselves that there is no need to reference Calvin, Knox, Warfield or anyone else? I'd prefer to stick to the Scriptures. After all, Calvin largely wrote in Latin and French. Many take great liberties with what he actually wrote when they translate his writings.
- John 6:44 and 65– “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.” And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”
The Father doesn't grant unbelievers Eternal life. It is rather clear that Jesus was asserting His Unity with the Father to those to whom He was speaking. Those that heard Jesus rejected the Son's relationship with the Father. Jesus made a statement of fact given the circumstances.
These same people were addressed by Jesus multiple times. Jesus told them
Joh 8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
Joh 8:18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
Joh 8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
Joh 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
[*]John 1:12-13– But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
I think we're probably talking about election.
The "New" birth. The seed of God only comes from God.
“Election is the unchangeable purpose of God, whereby, before the foundation of the world, He hath out of mere grace, according to the sovereign good pleasure of His own will, chosen, from the whole human race, which had fallen through their own fault from their primitive state of rectitude into sin and destruction, a certain number of persons to redemption in Christ, whom He from eternity appointed the Mediator and Head of the elect, and the foundation of salvation”
Synod of Dort
Liars. The whole "lot" of them. You appeal to the Scriptures and then point to a group of fallible men that would rather hear about themselves than about Christ.
You know how I know? Because such men claim election is in them. That God chose "THEM" and then relegate Christ to nothing more than the means of their election in Jesus Christ. Which makes Jesus Christ nothing more than a secondary cause.
This is contrary to what the Scriptures teach. Christ was chosen before the foundation of the world. The facts of conformity prove YOU nor any other man was chosen before the foundation of the world. You have no name without Christ. No Identity. No purpose. Nothing without Christ.
The people you're quoting love themselves more than they love God. Which is why such nonsense as this was fabricated to turn the primary cause of election in Christ to a subservient secondary means that only benefit "select" sinful men.
How wonderfully "praising" to Jesus Christ. Do you really believe Christ enjoys hearing such nonsense as this? << sarcasm.
Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
God’s own pleasure and God’s own will are the basis for election, not some condition foreseen in man.
God never choses anything without merit. You have no merit. Neither do I. Which is why God chose His Son. Christ is of utmost value to the Father. Not you. Not I. Christ bestows Grace but He has ......EARNED Eternal life for humanity.
As one Southerner to another brother, walk away from this nonsense you've been taught. What you believe doesn't honor the Son. It never has. It never will.
How can you speak of YOURSELF at all in Election?
