No its not ignored, Cornelius was regenerated, cleansed, righteous b4 God b4 he ever met Peter, feared God. Mans wicked heart by nature doesn't have the fear of God Rom 3:18

No I agree with the scriptures and explained my view. Cornelius was already saved B4 hearing the Gospel. I know you can't accept this,it derailes what you believe. Since when does hearing the Gospel save anyone from the penalty of their sins? Christ did that and the Gospel tells us all about it.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

He's both, saved and will be saved. Just like the saved now shall be saved in the future Heb 9:28
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation
There's a saving at His second coming which is future.

Cornelius was given faith in Christ because Christ had already redeemed him. Faith in Christ is only given to them He saved by the Cross.

Faith is given to them who Christ has saved already. Christ had already redeemed Cornelius, he was a righteous man. How? Rom 5:19
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
The word righteous here is the Greek word δίκαιος:

It's the same word for just that pertains to Cornelius here Acts 10:22

So Cornelius was already made righteous or just by the obedience of the one Christ.

Cornelius however was granted the repentance leading to life
