well... yes. As eternity is from beyond the ancient vanishing point, beyond which we cannot perceive in the past, to beyond the infinite future vanishing point, beyond which we cannot perceive, you are correct.
I'm referring to this body having decayed to the point where it can no longer sustain this life.
Thank you.
I was surprised when it popped up on my Facebook newsfeed, and thought it apropos to those people who think that those in the past had a better, more accurate perspective of the 70 sevens of Daniel 9:24-27.
Especially in light of Daniel 12:4.
Dan 12:4 WEB But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many will run back and forth, and knowledge will be increased.”
While I do think those people who lived back then had done their due diligence and developed a good collection of hypotheses, based on the knowledge and information they had at their respective eras/times, I think that we have a lot more, and more comprehensive knowledge of history and the Bible today.
And if Jesus doesn't come in the next 100 years or so, they'll have even more knowledge about it then.
One of the things I find most curious about the past 200 years of history is the study of archeology.
It's been astounding the amount of history that's been discovered, uncovered, brought up from underground, etc...
The Biblical Archeological Society has extensive articles written regarding their discoveries.
And sadly, the Taliban, and other radical Islamic groups have done extensive damage and destroyed beautiful history in the middle east in the past decade +.
As I consider all of these discoveries, I'm reminded of the Daniel 12:4 passage.
I can only imagine how much more will be uncovered and brought to light.
It is written,
Luk 12:2 WEB But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
This leaves me with the question...
Does this include archeological history too?
It seems to me that God will leave no stone unturned to remove all excuses from their rejection of Jesus.
