@Behold

Actually they were, God made them vessels of wrath and fits them for destruction, they have no say so, they are just pots He made to make His Power known Rom 9:18-22

Then this is a lie. "He died for from unbelief, false religion in the world, according to the will of God Gal 1:4"
18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

Then this is a lie. "He died for from unbelief, false religion in the world, according to the will of God Gal 1:4"
God made some as vessels of wrath and fits them for destruction. And He made some as vessels of mercy, and saves them from their sins, like unbelief and ignorance

The God of love does this?

God made some as vessels of wrath and fits them for destruction.

The God of love does this?
  1. It has been taught that God loves all men – even ones that He sends to hell.

This teaching profanes God's love for His elect and His hatred for those ordained to damnation (Jude 1:4). It is not taught in Scripture! Common grace is frequently taught. I don't deny that God provides for all men, but if rain and sunshine are measurements of God's love (as is taught at GBC), I'd have to conclude that the people with the most rain and sunshine are the most loved by God.

Psalms 92:5-7 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. {6} A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. {7} When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

God does not love all men. There are billions of men that God just wants to destroy forever, and He does. He causes men to prosper for the purpose of resurrecting them to everlasting shame and contempt.

Joshua 11:20 For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.

God actively hardened the hearts of the Gentiles. Why? It's not because the Gentiles were any more wicked than the Jews! It was so that God would keep His covenant with Israel. God had no desire whatsoever to give these gentiles any favor and He wanted to destroy them forever – so He hardened them.
  2. It has been taught that God didn't elect people to eternal damnation.

Romans 9:22-23 What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering thevessels of wrath fitted to destruction: {23} And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

These passages clearly teach that men are ordained to condemnation. God planned and decreed that certain men would be damned for eternity.

TULIP device is a problem, rather than the doctrine of grace it tries to summarize. Using TULIP may contribute to misunderstanding and confusion. People tend to hear things we don’t intend to communicate and, in fact, don’t believe:

Total Depravity. This sounds like we think all people are as bad as they can possibly be. But our listeners know some pretty good people, folks who are probably better than some church people they know.

Unconditional Election. When they hear this, people often jump immediately to the question of why some people are not chosen.

Limited Atonement. This seems to imply Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was limited in its power to save.

Irresistible Grace. The phrase brings to mind the picture of God dragging people to heaven, kicking and screaming, against their will.

Perseverance of the Saints. This makes it sound like once people are saved, it’s up to them to stay saved. They must persevere.

No one "perseveres" to receive Salvation and no one "perseveres" to stay saved.

Salvation is a GIFT from God........its "the Gift of Salvation"......and who is that?

That is JESUS...........>He is Salvation, and that is not something we do........>He is someone who we RECEIVE by FAITH, and our "Faith is counted by GOD as RIGHTEOUNESS".. (Imputed).

"Even as ABRAHAM BELIEVED God, and it was counted (imputed) to Him as Righteousness........and for us ALSO shall it (righteousness) be imputed if we BELIEVE".

Jesus is the Good Shepperd, He will leave the 99 to get that one lost lamb.

Ezekiel 34:11-16
For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I Myself will search for My flock and seek them out. / As a shepherd looks for his scattered sheep when he is among the flock, so I will look for My flock. I will rescue them from all the places to which they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. / I will bring them out from the peoples, gather them from the countries, and bring them into their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines, and in all the settlements of the land. ...

The Calvinist view of total depravity leads to total inability

Man cannot repent or believe according to the doctrine

Not only does scripture deny the Calvinist doctrine of total inability

Deuteronomy 30:11–19 (NASB95) — 11 “For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach. 12 “It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ 13 “Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ 14 “But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may observe it. 15 “See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and adversity; 16 in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply, and that the LORD your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it. 17 “But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them, 18 I declare to you today that you shall surely perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess it. 19 “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,

Romans 10:8–13 (NASB95) — 8 But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13 for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”

Showing man can believe, choose life, be declared righteous based on faith

Luke 11:28 (LEB) — 28 But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it!”

Follow the word of God

And may repent

Revelation 2:21–22 (LEB) — 21 And I have given her time in order to repent, and she did not want to repent from her sexual immorality. 22 Behold, I am throwing her into a sickbed and those who committed adultery with her into great affliction, unless they repent from her deeds.

Luke 11:32 (LEB) — 32 The people of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the proclamation of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here!

Ezekiel 18:30–32 (LEB) — 30 “Therefore I will judge you, house of Israel, each one according to his ways,” declares the Lord Yahweh. “Repent and turn around from all of your transgression, and it will not be as a stumbling block of iniquity to you. 31 Throw away from yourselves all of your transgressions that you committed, and make for yourselves a new heart and new spirit, and so why will you die, house of Israel? 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of the dying,” declares the Lord Yahweh. “And so repent and live!”

And live

Zechariah 1:6 (LEB) — 6 However, did not my words and my regulations which I commanded my servants the prophets overtake your ancestors? And they repented and said, ‘Yahweh of hosts planned to do with us according to our ways, and according to our deeds so he has dealt with us.’ ” ’ ”

Matthew 11:21 (LEB) — 21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

Acts 8:22 (LEB) — 22 Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and ask the Lord if perhaps the intent of your heart may be forgiven you!”

Acts 17:30 (LEB) — 30 Therefore although God has overlooked the times of ignorance, he now commands all people everywhere to repent,

2 Corinthians 7:9 (LEB) — 9 now I rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you were grieved to repentance. For you were grieved according to the will of God, so that you suffered loss in no way through us.

2 Corinthians 7:10 (LEB) — 10 For grief according to the will of God brings about a repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted, but worldly grief brings about death.

2 Peter 3:9 (LEB) — 9 The Lord is not delaying the promise, as some consider slowness, but is being patient toward you, because he does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance.

And contrary to Calvinism, men cannot be made alive so they might believe.

Those who do not believe will not see life

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 3:18 The one who believes in him is not judged, but the one who does not believe has already been judged, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

Mark 16:16 The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who refuses to believe will be condemned.

John 8:24 Thus I said to you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.”

1 John 5:12 The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

1 John 5:10–13 (The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. The one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning his Son.) And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life.

So scripture refutes Calvinism’s belief that unbelievers may be given life so that they may believe

Rather man believes so that he might have life
