I know many calvinists myself who could of done a much better job against Warren McGrew. In fact many here on this site could of handled the arguments much better.
Let me know your thoughts after you have watched the debate. Thanks !
I noticed how Slick sought to use as a point that he's been teaching the Bible or Calvinism, for many, many years....so he's appealing to experience of what he considers to being in the know and not actually an argument from scriptures. I won't say this applies to Slick but using this approach can lead to being condescending and to being presumptuous like I've been doing this a long time and surely there's no way I could be wrong.
I'm not perfect in this myself for sure...seek to try my best.
There is though a knowing how to debate and form an argument in a worldly way or in a Bible way. Many can pride themselves that they won a debate but if one never wins the other over....It's like a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still. I think if another really knows the foundation principal of the others life if LOVE it makes it so much easier for a person to accept what's being said which is contrary to what they have believed.
