I don't know where you came up with no one in the bible accepted jesus as their personal savior but that is completely unbiblical. Did you're fire insurance salesman tell you that?

The first four books are called the gospels. They are for sinners to believe in Jesus.
The next book is the book of Acts. It is the instructions for what we must do to be saved.
The following books are called the epistles. They were written to those that were already saved.
You need to read and apply these books in this specific order to avoid being called an Acts skipper.

Right there shows that you don't understand salvation. You can't pay for your salvation. Fire insurance may sound comforting to you But in reality it is fake it can't save you. Just like water baptism can't save you.

Philip would not even consider baptizing the Ethiopian eunuch unless he believed first. That is the qualifier. If you don’t confess Jesus Christ is the messiah and believe in him as such you cannot be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Now, folks today have it in reverse. They say you believe and you’re saved and then you get baptized if you feel like it or not because it’s irrelevant. They’re doing it all without the name of Jesus.
The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ are insignificant to them, and in another universe to them. They think they can believe the death, burial and resurrection into their lives by just making a lone, scripted confession.
