Jesus, The Messiah Bible Study

What an evil spirit in you.
Christ cannot be in such a heart that has such an evil attitude and mind.
To be glad in anyone's disappointment in life is to bring a curse upon that person.
I know now you are not Christian, and the love of Christ does not reside in you.

More than ever before, individuals are seeking the spotlight of personal glory. In contrast, Christians are called to shine brightly for the glory of God. What does that look like practically?

Let’s find out by highlighting some of today’s Scripture passages.

… work out your salvation … for it is God who works in you … Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure ... Then you will shine… Philippians 2:12-15 NIV

… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father ... Matthew 5:16 NIV

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. James 1:22 NIV

… The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. Galatians 5:6 NIV

These passages reveal that a Christian’s light is a process of growing in love by faith and cooperation with the Holy Spirit.

So what does a radiant Christian look like? Is it a person who smiles all the time and never seems to have a bad day? Is it someone who is impressively nice, or the most outwardly generous person you know?

Maybe, or maybe not. Remember day three’s soul alignment—our actions and our motives matter.

Take a second to think about this stunningly true quote from the popular book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse:

“Isn’t it odd. We can only see our outsides, but nearly everything happens on the inside.”

Radiant love stops looking at the surface. It stops comparing, judging, criticizing, and acting out of prejudice, and instead looks to God.

We shine God’s love when we know our battle is against spiritual darkness and we prayerfully fight for unity with other Christ followers. We shine when we speak up and act on behalf of injustices, live generously and gratefully, do all the good we can, and love our enemies.

Secular culture tries to lure us into seeking our own pleasure, philosophy, popularity, and purpose outside of God. Ironically, secularism has created a world of people who are chronically insecure and empty. They have either neglected or rejected exalting and magnifying God.

In contrast, the most God-glorifying people know their identity and significance comes from Him.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, to continually shine Christ’s love, we must remember that we are fully secure and infinitely significant through Christ. He is our life, our security, and our significance.

And when we live by His Spirit, secure in who we are in Him, love emanates brilliantly from us, and God receives all the glory.

Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together! Psalm 34:3 RSV

Pray: Beautiful and awesome God of love and light, I humble myself before You. I will glorify You alone. I reject the lies of insecurity. You are my significance, and I am secure in You. Help my faith grow in Your pure, sacrificial, and radiant love. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Being Christian does not mean shining the light on oneself, but on shining the light on God, to lift up His Name and exalt His Person.
One thing about being a Christian that unbelievers who seek the spotlight, seek the preeminence, and lift up themselves cannot understand is the theology of being Christian. Unbelievers can never understand what being Christian means, which to be honest, is completely opposite to what being an unbeliever is. For example. God tells us:

If you want to be rich you God says must give your all your riches away. Unbelievers cannot do that.
If you want to be exalted God says you must humble yourselves and God will lift us up. Unbelievers will not do that.
If you want to live God says you must die daily. Unbelievers would rather seek to gain the whole world and in the process lose their own soul.

The reason why kids are twisted today is the fault of American parents and, by extension, American government.
The United States is under judgment from God, and we are reaping what we have sown. The time has come in which judgment must begin in the Household of God, and if it begins with us and we scarcely be saved, what will be the end of those that obey not the Torah of God.
None of us will escape. They have piped for us but none of us have danced.

Let me go get my dancing shoes on let me go get my dancing shoes on. We need to start a Revival Dance Rave.

You never had to tell me that you were disappointed. You could have said totally something else instead. It’s okay though, buddy. Being disappointing to someone is encouraging. My strength shall exalt through the Lord Yeshua, there is no reason to say there is an evil spirit within me. It was just me, directing my comment of understanding your disappointment which you committed to telling me two times already.:)

Jesus dancing party looking at it makes feel very sick, @Lily…

Jesus was humiliated by his fellow peers which by the Word chose, to be his. Beaten, bloodied and whipped, along with the nailing in the cross, and the piercing of his side or near his heart…

Sometimes however even the Spirit groans mutter prayers we don’t understand?

Something like that. Disappointment comes with being with the Lord Jesus, if one suffers for Him.

They shall become sanctified in their life as they walk in faith, and in the spirit.

Sometimes life can become disappointing, or a person whom critics your material is disappointing from not having started where they wanted to. Disappointment just happens to come naturally, even Yahavah expressed his disappointing displeasure of having made mankind with his regret.

You have to put your old man away, and put on the new person in Christ through faith in the resurrection.

What a fake.

Sorry, but I do find it important to whom we are suppose to worship, and to me that is the Father in heaven, the LORD GOD, Yahweh. Jesus never placed himself above his Father, and when the victory over all things had occurred, Jesus would hand everything back to his Father.

Jesus is not over his Father, however today, they are One, and that combination created the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. Which of course is only mentioned in Revelation.

Revelation 3:21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.

See here, the Jesus returning to his former glory, to be able to sit with his Father. And consider below, that Jesus hands over the Kingdom of God, to his Father.

1 Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

While you may believe what you want about these things, my understanding is that, God was in the beginning, and the Word of God was in the beginning with God, and the Holy Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the deep.

@101G, I don't care about the trinity and stuff like that I don't think it is essential to salvation and people who believe it is true, it's okay if they decide. So many people do, and it negatively effects them to hear anything that goes against that 'thought.'
care or not the scriptures are not changing for you or 101G. listen, in Revelation 1: someone sends HIS angel to john correct. and the angel who was sent said the "Lord God" sent him, Revelation 22:6 "And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done." . and the bible tells us who the Lord God is of the holy Prophets.. BY NAME. listen, Revelation 22:16 "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."

YES, the Lord Jesus is the Lord God who a. created all things. Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

who is b. the almighty, Revelation 1:8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."

so see, 101G don't care what YOU believe or thinks 101G believes the Scriptures, and the scriptures states that the Lord Jesus is the ONLY TRUE GOD..... Bingo.

have a nice day....... (smile).

Allos and heteron.

J.
then you must have a bunch of sad people in your culture. but anyway, "Allos and heteron." or G243 Allos, and G2087 heteros is the Answer to God Plurality. using the Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words [ 1,,G243 G2087 ,allos heteros ] have a difference in meaning, which despite a tendency to be lost, is to be observed in numerous passages. Allos expresses a numerical difference and denotes another of the same sort;" heteros expresses a qualitative difference and denotes "another of a different sort."

BINGO, there is the answer to God's plurality, just as H259 ECHAD in the OT, "ONE" is the plurality of the same person in Ordinal designations of First and Last,
H259 אֶחָד 'echad (ech-awd') adj.
1. (properly) united, i.e. one.
2. (as an ordinal) first.
[a numeral from H258]
KJV: a, alike, alone, altogether, and, any(-thing), apiece, a certain, (dai-)ly, each (one), + eleven, every, few, first, + highway, a man, once, one, only, other, some, together.
Root(s): H258

First and Last,

Actually, you say a lot of things without clearly expressing yourself or properly explaining what you post.

The term "ordinal first" refers to the first position in a sequence or list, as opposed to just the numeral "one." In the context of the Hebrew word אֶחָד (echad), which is typically translated as "one," it can also function as an ordinal when it means "first."

Breakdown of the word אֶחָד (echad):
Primary Meaning (One): The word אֶחָד (echad) in its primary sense means "one" or "united". It is used to express singularity or unity, often in contrast to plurality.

Ordinal Meaning (First): As an ordinal, אֶחָד (echad) can also mean "first", indicating the first in a sequence. This usage is more limited but still valid, particularly in contexts where the sequence is implied (e.g., "the first of something").

Example of Ordinal Use:
Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning (בְּרֵאשִׁית bereishit), God created the heavens and the earth."

The term "beginning" (בְּרֵאשִׁית bereishit) in this verse is derived from רֵאשִׁית (reishit), which comes from the root word רֵאש meaning "first."

While אֶחָד itself is not used in this instance, the concept of "first" is central to the meaning of reishit.

In Summary:
אֶחָד (echad), when used as an ordinal, conveys the meaning of "first," marking the initial position in a sequence.

Doesn't make any sense when we study the Scriptures in context.

Thanks.

yes that sequence is in TIME, PLACE, ORDER, and RANK. just as the term "beginning" in Genesis 1:1 clearly states,
H7225 רֵאשִׁית re'shiyth (ray-sheeth') n-f.
1. the first, in place, time, order or rank.
2. (specifically) a firstfruit.
[from the same as H7218]
KJV: beginning, chief(-est), first(-fruits, part, time), principal thing.
Root(s): H7218

and that sequence in of the First and the Last is in TIME, PLACE, ORDER, and RANK, meaning in the EQUAL SHARE of the same one person just as Philippians 2:6 clearly states. "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:"
