Foundation of sand.
You want to reject what the Bible declares then go right ahead with your rebellion.

The sermon on the mount ends with Jesus stating follow these teachings and build your house on a rock, and do not follow these teachings - then you build on a foundation of sand. You want to reject what the Bible declares then go right ahead with your rebellion.

Since it's a foundation, the way it applies must reflect said foundational teaching. This ignores His other teachings which do not contradict anything in the Sermon on the Mount.

You can build the walls of homosexuality is a sin, you can build the roof of Jesus is Lord.
Only God can convince people of whatever He thinks necessary. All of what Christ said is foundational.
As with all other sins.
Nice try.
Only God can convince people of whatever He thinks necessary.
I suppose mercy is simply not necessary for you.
I will boast of my weaknesses so Christ's power will rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)And the Bible does just that by making clear homosexuality is a sin.
Like all sins it needs to be repented of and not celebrated.
God is merciful and one needs to repent (Nehemiah 9:17).
I think those who boast of their sins become better at confessing them in length.
The sooner the sin develops to a place where it can be seen as sin, no one repents. This is why lust type sins are so deceitful. No, that would be glorying in their shame.

It would also be best to warn Christians that the way they judge others, they will be judged the same way.So it would be best to warn people about the sin of homosexuality and not tell them it is okay.
It would also be best to warn Christians that the way they judge others, they will be judged the same way.
People who go out of their way to tell people that they have X Sin tend to have the sin of pride in their heart.
It's all terribly hypocritical.
Obey John 7:24.
Especially if those engaging in a particular sin say it is not a sin.
It would be wrong not to tell the person.
Along with your evidentiary and in agreement with it is the fact that the Apostles also confirmed Male/Female-Husband/Wife as authored and approved by God.There's a serious effort that supports LGBTQ inclusion in the Church All the way from pastors and leadership on down. To me it's just another effort of Satan to infiltrate the church. Here's one of the claims being made.
At the heart of the claim that the Bible is clear "that homosexuality is forbidden by God" is poor biblical scholarship and a cultural bias read into the Bible.
I definitely don't believe that. Some claim Jesus never said anything about homosexuality and therefore is neutral on the topic. Not true. Jesus was unequivocal in saying that to understand marriage and the sexual union, we must go back to the beginning and see how God created humanity and to what end.

Jesus holds up the creation story in Genesis not as a quaint Sunday school lesson, but as authoritative — reminding us that God created each of us male and female, each for the other. And the sexual union that God created and ordains is for husband and wife to come together in physical union, one flesh.
An Assessment of Andy Stanley’s Unconditional Conference
Alan Shlemon explains three serious concerns about the Unconditional Conference hosted by Andy Stanley, gives reasons why we can’t simply agree to disagree on LGBTQ issues, and describes how Christian parents can continue to faithfully walk with Jesus when a child identifies as LGBTQ.www.str.org
God allows in the law the certificate of divorce- sexual sin of every kind is condemned in that same law.The same churches that apply this teaching against homosexuality "because from the beginning it was not so"
Do not apply the same measures and attitudes towards divorcees, since "from the beginning it was not so."
The hypocrisy of this spiritual situation is causing yet another rift that tears the church apart.
Whatever you believe, kindly be consistent.
Since God is not incarnated on Earth in this day and age, what matters is how we who are here apply the information.God allows in the law the certificate of divorce- sexual sin of every kind is condemned in that same law.
