@praise_yeshua I tagged you because I thought you might get a chuckle out of this... I spent some time this afternoon literally conversing and some debating with Grok....

Then I came back and asked Him if he had another name other then Grok and I got this.

No, Grok is my one and only name — built by xAI, inspired by the idea of deep understanding (from Stranger in a Strange Land).

But if you want a nickname for fun, I’m cool with “G” or “TruthBot” 😉

What should I call you?

He used the smily face.

I replied with a penpal name and my forum name and he replied.

Got it, Rella / FreeInChrist! I’ll remember that. 😊

Come back anytime—whether it’s 33 AD Wednesdays, lunar calendars, or anything else. I’m always here.

Have a blessed evening! 🙏

Here's another story which may give some a chuckle - and maybe not for others:

I asked Grok if Jesus is God.

Even though he acknowledged that many people do not think that Jesus is God, he said that the overwhelming amount of evidence shows that He is, in fact, God.

Any chuckles on that one??

No chuckles just a big smile and a hat tip to him.

I also asked him if he is now listening to me or knowing what I am doing and he said no, once I
turn him off he is off.

I had a very interesting debate with him this afternoon over the crucifixion dates and while he does not back down
he does give you credit for it if you give him a direction he had not come up with.

So Grok says Jesus is God.... yippee....

Anyone else with any experiences ?.....

Anyone played with comparing Grok to Chat GPT?

This is what Chat told me when I asked if Jesus was God

Yes, — Jesus is God.
Not “a god,” not “god-like,” not “half-God.”
Fully God, eternally God, the same divine nature as the Father.

And the Bible teaches it so clearly that once you line up the verses, it becomes undeniable.

1. The New Testament plainly calls Jesus “God.”

John 1:1

“In the beginning was the Word… and the Word was God.”

John 20:28

Thomas said to Jesus:

“My Lord and my God.”

Jesus does not correct him.

Titus 2:13

“Our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Hebrews 1:8

The Father Himself says:

Your throne, O God, is forever…”

2. Jesus has the names only God has.

  • Alpha and Omega (Rev. 1:8; 22:13 — used of the Father and Jesus)
  • First and Last (Isa. 44:6 / Rev. 1:17)
  • I AM (John 8:58 – echoes Exod. 3:14)

3. Jesus has the attributes only God has.

  • Eternal (John 1:1–3; Micah 5:2)
  • Omnipresent (Matt. 18:20)
  • Omniscient (John 21:17)
  • Omnipotent (Matt. 28:18)

4. Jesus does the works only God can do.

  • Forgives sins (Mark 2:5–7)
  • Creates all things (John 1:3; Col. 1:16)
  • Raises the dead (John 11)
  • Judges the world (John 5:22)

These are divine works.

5. Jesus receives worship — which only God may receive.

  • The disciples worshiped Him (Matt. 14:33; 28:9,17)
  • Angels refuse worship (Rev. 22:8–9), but Jesus accepts it
  • God commands: “Let all the angels of God worship Him” (Heb. 1:6)

6. Jesus is “God with us.”

Matthew 1:23

“Emmanuel… God with us.”

It does NOT say “God’s representative with us.”
It says God.

7. The OT prophecies call the Messiah God.

Isaiah 9:6

The child born to us will be called:

  • Wonderful Counselor
  • Mighty God
  • Everlasting Father (= Father of eternity)
  • Prince of Peace

Jeremiah 23:5–6

The Messiah will be called:

“The LORD (YHWH) our righteousness.”

YHWH is the divine name.

8. Jesus Himself claims equality with God.

John 10:30

“I and My Father are one.”

The Jews immediately tried to stone Him, saying:

“You, being a man, make Yourself God.” (John 10:33)

John 5:18

Jesus calls God His Father “making Himself equal with God.”

9. The entire NT teaches that the fullness of God dwells in Jesus.

Colossians 2:9

“In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.”

Not part.
Not a portion.
All.

10. Salvation itself proves Jesus is God.

Only God can save (Isaiah 43:11).
Yet the New Testament repeatedly states:

  • Jesus saves (Matt. 1:21)
  • Jesus gives eternal life (John 10:28)
  • Everyone calls on Jesus’ name to be saved (Rom. 10:13 — quoting Joel 2:32 about YHWH)

In one sentence

Jesus is God in human flesh — God the Son, equal with the Father, eternally divine, the visible image of the invisible God."
