You may have experienced much disappointment in your life as you were growing up when people let you down. I understand how painful this has been and how it has shaped your view of what love is. Especially when this hurt has come from the ones who were meant to love you with parental love.
But today dear child, I want you to know at a deeper heart level that the fragile, conditional love you have experienced is nothing like the eternal, unconditional love I have for you. Because I am your true Father and My love will never fail you.
And I want you to know that My love for you is not based on your wavering faith, but on My steadfast faithfulness. For it is as faithful as the rising sun and as immovable as the highest mountain. If you would just open your heart and dare to believe this is true, your anxious heart will be set at rest as you begin to trust Me. From before the foundation of the world dear one, I knew you and I loved you. And I looked forward to the time when you would awaken to your true destiny and take your rightful place in My family through the finished work of My beloved Son, Jesus.
For you are one of My greatest masterpieces and your life brings Me much joy. If you could see yourself today as I see you, the joy I have for you will fill your heart. For there has never been another you in all of history and only you can reflect My unique image through all the gifts I have given you. I have even taken the time to number each one of the hairs on your head!
So be encouraged and strengthened today, for I am an attentive Father who knows what you need before you even ask for it. And I want you to come boldly to My throne of grace to receive all the help you need for this day.

this might be good to consider, as it pertains to love...
on this earth genuine caring and love and honesty are hard to find ...
and not to mention much fake care goes around here... the problem is that often people
are kind to appear kind, out of politeness, yet have no feelings of care or kindness to the
other they are 'being kind to', in their soul...
or, if love appears...it is very abstract... rather than directly experienced in the soul.
such that behavior *can just reflect a form of acting to fit in many times..and not feeling...
which (feeling) plato and ever since downgraded, that itself is quite a topic...
and then, same plato, elevated reason and logic in its place. of course, acting properly is logical
but may be fake... and it's quite reasonable, because the Self sees they must do this or that to weasel by.
reason is a perfect smoke-curtain.
the consciousness one is in can have a perfect logic... and even a banal niceness to it... that is empty.
a sociopath can have perfectly sound logical system for himself, yet be vicious and hateful. this is not my
posed invention as a problem, but is much discussed by philosophers, starting with kiergegaard.
acting with love one does not genuinely feel is lying and is not what a soul is asked to do.
the point is not to mindlessly follow an abstract 'reason' - and in plato Reason actually is 'god'
and referred to as nous. That word nous btw absolutely does not refer to God!!!! At all!!!
The point is to genuinely love and be connected to God, in that love...
as a real experience. It's going a further extra mile, because of actually caring... and that is very rare.
If it was not, we would be in paradise not this circus earth ruled by that ugly and different mindset altogether
which follows a bunch of nonsense rules yet could care less about the soul.
because of the nature of the fallen situation, souls can do bad things...
there are many false standards set up, and oppressions, to cause a soul to go bad...
because this world does not care.. God called it Death where Adam would go...
and here we are. Adam chose between God and Death and chose death.
humans are not the judge of souls, because of their own depraved Self, that foreign entity called the natural mind.
because their natural mind "reason" will always give that soul bad yet perfectly logical judgments..
often performed for crowd satisfaction.. and out of pressure from different forces that have nothing to do with
the real situation but more so with appearances... which logic and reason fit in with well...
because this place rules by reason and logic which is the greek god.

I understand what you're saying and I'm sure there's quite a bit of it in this world. The way I look at it is Jesus told us to love one another and that must mean that we're able to do it. Maybe only one minute at a time, but it's possible. I believe we grow in our love walk, but it does take a conscious effort. It's hard to love the unlovable but In Christ we're able to do that also. Love this song let your love flow.

- i am not talking about the external flesh -
that soul would be lovable
so
for me there seems no reason to try
to love anything harsh or ugly
but only to find that lovely soul inside
