God wasn't the one that changed. Adam did. Adam made a choice for Eve. Yes. Adam would have never died if he had stayed in the garden. However, that doesn't change the fact that Adam did not have innate Eternal Life. He had no right to Eternal life. Not before he "sinned" nor "after".

God was keeping Adam alive. God continued to keep Adam alive. God was sustaining Adam throughout his life. Life that existed even after you say he "died".

Adam was driven away from the "tree of life". He hadn't ate of the "tree of life" or he would have lived forever.

These are metaphorical representations that have some semblance of a literal application in the fabric of our natural lives. How we discern them flavors our theology.

Adam was incapable of pleasing God. Especially when God placed him in a Garden with a "tree" that look really good to taste. Add the fact that God allowed Satan in the Garden to tempt Eve. It was inevitable. The innocent confronted with things they didn't understand. Sure, they disobeyed God but the idea that such actions are worthy of damnation is preposterous. It is literally crazy to preach such nonsense.

Do you plan to live in Eternity with Satan living right along side you to tempt you?

The Hebrew Scripture: The Law, the Psalms, and the Prophets - Genesis to Malachi, and in every "book" God is addressing Hebrews. Why not? It's their covenants, their prophets, their nation, their land, and their salvation.
And again, God is speaking to Nicodemus, a Jew. One covenant member speaking to another covenant member about the teachings of Jesus, which teachings Jesus taught to Jews. It doesn't say, "God loved everyone," does it? No, because God does not love everyone. God loves ONLY His people: the children of Israel, His Bride, His Church.

But look out now, the New Covenant writings from Matthew (a Jew) to Revelation by John (a Jew.) There is no need to write I am writing to Jews. It's a given, it's well known that the gospels are written to the Jews so that "they might believe."

The letters: Written by Jews to and for other Jews and Jewish Christians. But we don't have to claim Hebrews is written to the Hebrew people. That's self-evident. Or James, writing to the twelve tribes of Israel scattered. But for some reason Gentiles want to steal Scripture belonging to another people - the Jews - and make it their own. That's called stealing the inheritance that belongs to Abraham and his seed.

The New Covenant writings from Matthew to Revelation were written to the Jews. There are countless references to the Old Testament Scripture. Gentiles were not interested in the religion of the Jews. Gentiles were the enemies of the Jews, and the Jews hated them for their oppression of the Jewish people, for conquering the Jews, for taking their land and depositing uncircumcised, unclean, non-covenant Gentiles. Gentiles worshiped idols and false gods. Hundreds of gods in the culture that is Gentile and Greek and Latin.

Jesus tells Nicodemus "God so loved the world of Jews that He gave His Son," thus fulfilling Hebrew prophecy concerning Israel's Messiah. But it is not necessary to say "the world [of Jews]" when both Jesus and Nicodemus are speaking about Jesus' teaching as Teacher. "We know thou art a teacher come from God." Who is Nicodemus identifying as "WE know?" Who's the "We?" Gentiles? No, it is possessive. He is talking about Jews without saying he's talking about Jews. It's the same with "God so loved the world."
They are talking about the children of Israel as there are countless mentioning in the OT of God loving the Hebrew people because they are children from Abraham. God doesn't love the "world" as in mankind. If God loved all mankind then Jesus should have prayed for them in John 17:9, but He doesn't. The "world" of all humankind are without a prayer, without a sanctifying prayer from Israel's High Priest at a time when if God wanted to save ALL MANKIND He would have prayed and included the "world."
But He didn't. The world is left without a prayer. And Jesus' sacrifice is in accordance with the Law of Moses which sacrifices were made to atone yearly for the sins of the children of Israel until the Lamb of God could come to sacrifice Himself to atone finally and forever the sins of the children of Israel as per the Law of Moses and of God.

Everything about salvation is of the LORD and of the JEWS.
There is NO SALVATION that is of the WORLD.
None.
God has only One Bride. Israel. And He will have a Marriage Supper where only Jews are invited because they hold to other side of the Marriage Covenant along with God and His Christ.
God is Faithful. God loves only One Bride, not two. He is wed to Israel and only Israel.

19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever;
Yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment,
And in lovingkindness, and in mercies.

God has only ONE Bride: Israel.
God is not unfaithful to also love Gentiles. There is nothing in the OT that says such blasphemy.
