Does anyone know one of the best ways to break habits and start new ones?

I would appreciate any advice on how to break habits and start new ones.. It seems that when I was 19 I could stop anything and start anything.. But now that I'm 67 It is very difficult for me after my stroke, heart attacks and pneumonia.

Does anyone have any simple strategy?

Precious friend, @Walt, I will pray for you; these may be helpful on your Grace journey With God:

1) Biblical Thinking?:

"Be careful [ anxious ] for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are
just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." (Philippians 4:6-8 AV):

2) God's Grace For our infirmities!

3)
Handling The Precious Word Of Life!!

Amen.
